You can chat anywhere really @William1 .... but there is some structure to the forums.

Here is the Home page for the Lived Experience forum ..... LE-forum

You will notice (on the right hand side on my iPad) a box with Introduce Yourself Here and Community Guidelines ..... If you click on those, they are fairly self-explanatory.

Then there are discussion topic headings which helps to sort the forum threads into general categories to help people to find subjects that are supportive for them.

Alternatively you can type a word or two into the Search bar and you will be offered suggestions.

Feel free to ask any questions you like to help you find your way around. We are generally friendly folk here.

Okay ..... click on Getting Started .....

Go down to Find a Discussion to Join and you will see a link called Introduce Here. If you want you can say a general hello there, but you don’t have to. The Getting Started page will probably answer most questions you may have, and the Community Guidelines any others .....

Oh .... and using the @ symbol in front of someone’s user name sends them an email notification that you have “tagged” them .....

Im trying to draw some elephants for a friend......
