Re: Taking the plunge

Heading for a Topup here, so, yes please @CheerBear ☕️☕️

Dont worry about tbe sudden dropout, I understand it could be any number of things, from crew members , to phone calls, to cats racing around etc.

Did you manage some garden yesterday ?

My yesterday was pretty uneventful. Nothing achieved, just thought about achieving. 😁😁😁

Hows today looking for you ?

Re: Taking the plunge

Notifications are super slow this morning @Maggie. The one above only just came through.

I did the garden yesterday 😊 Mowed, whipper snipped, swept, put bikes etc away. It was really good to sit back and look at. Everyone here mowed yesterday, with the nice day and nothing else to do. The neighbourhood was humming with mowers 😆

Thinking about doing is where I spend a lot of time ♥️

Today I will tackle the house, ready to hopefully pack mid week. There's a lot to do 😏:face_with_rolling_eyes: Groceries coming this morning too. I have to clean the car also as I am putting it in the shop tomorrow. Nervous about how much it might cost but thankful I've been able to save a little so I'm not tipping over with stress about it.

How about your today?

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I think spring this year is going to be a very welcome relief, for soo soo many of us, and for different reasons. I can hear and smell the mowed lawns. I love the smell.

I spend a lot of my time thinking about doing also. So far, I have the sink full of soaking dishes, that’s a start. No choice left, more a necessity.

🤞🤞 for the cost of the car tomorrow @CheerBear, it’s always a worry, but so essential, specially with a family.

I hope to do some resin today. Just in case my lady decided to pick up her order, I need to have is well and truly dry. I need to clean, but I can’t see that happening.

Food order today for you will mean the cupboards are full. A good start.

Re: Taking the plunge

Spring has to be better surely 🤞 @Maggie. The fruit trees are blossoming here. I'll see if I can take a pic for you later.

What's it like at your place at the moment? We have incredible wind happening again today. The wind is freezing but the day is forecast to be 20. Strange.

I hear you with the dishes. Our sink is full of soaking also. I can focus on either the outside or the inside but rarely both, so soaking is as far as made it yesterday.

How are you feeling about the order?

Re: Taking the plunge

Blossoms on fruit trees 👍👍. I will take a pic of my garden today, and show you. They are tiny plants, but in 6 mths, that will hopefully change.

I can never have outside and inside looking good at the same time either. It requires energy I just don’t have.

I smiled at your sink full of dishes also. 👍👍👍😁😁

I don’t have an order @CheerBear , I’m celebrating yours. 😂😂😂😂 Off to a good start aye.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Forgot to mention, we are forecast for severe wind today, but it’s very still at the moment, it must be on it’s way. I don’t like wind at all, it’s unsettling.

Re: Taking the plunge

Oooh I'm looking forward to seeing your garden @Maggie. I find the wind can be unsettling too. Fascinating but unsettling. We're in a little wind tunnel here. That's how the giant trampoline took off and ended up in the powerlines. I was having a giggle about that yesterday, remembering police, fire brigade, ses etc 😂. It roars down the driveway which is next to my bedroom window. Tossed and turned all night with it. If this is heading your way rug up. It's icy!

I meant your stone order 😂

I watched a big huntsman crawl by a moment ago. I hate spiders and jolted inside wanting to not let it be anymore (cruel but I can't deal with them) or run away. I decided to stay still and let it go which is unusual for me. It made it about a metre away from me before a wattle bird hopped along and turned it into breakfast 😆 Feels good knowing I let a bird eat breakfast and nature take its course 🌷🌻🐦🕷️♥️

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear The order. 😂😂😂😂😂 Its going to be one of those days.

My order is going ok. She’s looking at some canvases too. Strange feeling.

Oh wow. A giant trampoline in the powerlines, that’s strong wind. It turned icy here late last night, with a light wind, so, yes, Rugging up waiting for it. I don’t like it howling in the night. Spooky.👽👻👻

OMG a huntsman spider. I don’t do crawlies well at all. A natural breakfast sounds ok enough. 🕷🕸🐜🐜🕸🕷🦗🦟😂😂

Re: Taking the plunge

I understand the strange feeling @Maggie, and the questions "am I good enough" that it could bring. Super proud (in a on condescending way) of and with you.

The trampoline is funny now, though the kids miss it and it was far from funny then. I was outside when it happened. It lifted vertically, didn't drag as there is no room for it to, over the fence which is way taller than me, honestly as high as the house, clipped my car, took a chunk of fence out, then landed sideways in the fruit tree and on the powerline just shy of the road. I called SES as it was about to roll on to the busy road and I thought it was live as it was in the powerlines. They sent police and fire. The police helped with the traffic and the fire crew checked if it was live then took it down and dismantled it. They had a giggle at having never been called out for a trampoline in powerlines before 😂 Then the power company had to come out to fix the power to our house. It could only happen to us 😂 :face_with_rolling_eyes: And it was a still day too, just one random burst of wind. If the kids had been on it, which they usually were, it would have been awful. Never will we own one again! Anyway, that's my chuckle of the day!

I'm going to get cracking on the dishes I think. Before the groceries arrive. I hope your day has something good about it. Sending you mega love and thinking of you often ♥️

Re: Taking the plunge

So good to see you both here chatting, @Maggie and @CheerBear , as it means you're both doing a bit better, I think /hope?

@CheerBear that's amazing about your trampoline in the powerlines 😮 And I am with you on huntsmen <shudder>

@Maggie thank you for your kind wishes 🙂 Thinking of you with the fragile feeling, the soaking dishes, the unsettling wind, and the stone order... Do you paint canvases too?

Thank you for your kind and beautiful pea wishes, @Bunniekins 🙂
