@CheerBear How is the quilt looking ? Did yesterday turn out how you had hoped it would. That means a busy morning, then work, so a very busy day ahead. 💙💙
@NatureLover I just couldn’t face another baked bean, or cheese on toast. I think it’s really hard to cook for yourself, it seems like a wasted effort. I wish I could share with you.
I hope today is a better one for you, and you can spend some time in nature. 💙💙

Morning all ♥️
I finished the quilt @Maggie 🎉 It was way harder than I thought and it's definitely not perfect but I am happy with the way it turned out and I learnt heaps. I'll see if I can upload a pic.
We had a great night. Little shadowed me around the house learning what is involved in cleaning it after they had a big hiccup. big and Middle offered to make dinner and did an awesome job. They had music on and were chatting away. It was really, really nice 😊

@CheerBear You did it. 👍👍👍 oh wow. How exciting. 🎉🎉🎉 I honestly don’t think anything handmade is ever perfect. We often are the only ones who know where the imperfections are.
That sounds like a night to remember @CheerBear. You have a great Crew.
I had 3 firsts yesterday @CheerBear 1 I made a quiche to freeze. 2 I cooked an eggplant Mediterranean dish to freeze. 3 I washed up after cooking on the same day.
I also did resin on stones.
I think it will be a quiet cleaning kind of day here.

Oh wow @Maggie! That sounds really busy. Two new dishes? Were they yum? It is such a good feeling to have food in the freezer and know you don't have to think of it for a while.
My pics didn't upload but I think there's a workaround that I can do 🤔 I'll have a look at it in a little while. I used quite a tall and high batting which I didn't realise until I started sewing and had to wrestle with it under my little machine 😆 It made the blocks look wonky but also feel fluffy and pillowy which is kind of nice anyway. Not sure if I'll do another but it sure was fun to play with.
Are you able to upload pics of your stones? Did the resin work with the weather?

I really need to try and do something about my diet @CheerBear .Its shocking. So I hope I can be bit more motivated . One can but try. I will do a show and tell later on the craft corner. I’m pleased with these. I think my tiny fundraiser last week, boosted my very fragile confidence. At least for a little while.
I had two goes with the resin. The first didn’t work. The second was fine. Different resin though. Who knows.
