Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear That relieves some pressure today for you to work. Really pleased.

I was hoping you got a chance to get back to your desk. I bet it’s looking really good now. 👍👍😍😍 Just getting back to your house , once all the coats are done.

I moved stuff around my flat again @CheerBear 😂😂😂. Plus I had another go at resin, but it’s just too cold here at the moment, so I will have to wait till spring. Sigh

I will put a pic of the stone up anyway, disappearing though.

Sorry to hear that @outlander 🙁 I know sleep has been hard for you for a long time. Do you think it's getting worse or harder? Big hugs ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

It's been so fun to make @Maggie and I can't wait to bring it home and use it. I did the frame in white chalk paint and the top a light walnut looking stain. I was fussy about the way the timber was laid out to make the table top so there are knots and interesting patterns all over it. Unwell person and I had heaps of fun together. They're feeling a bit mixed up and enjoyed teaching me tools while they can. They also bought me a ridiculously early birthday present (they wanted an excuse I guess haha) which I didn't like them doing but they really wanted to. A drill driver. The start of my tools 😁. It's so cool and so much fun!

It's so cold here too. Our 'feels like' temp is hovering around -4 this morning. Too cold for me. There was ice everywhere yesterday so I had to wait hours to paint and varnish which annoyed me. If only we had perfect work spaces in our houses, and a gazillion dollars to buy crafty stuff to make things 😆

Looking forward to seeing what you share.

How's today looking for you?

Re: Taking the plunge

Its getting much worse and harder @CheerBear its mostly affected by pain levels atm. I cant sleep it off like i could shorter term pains. This one keeps me up or wakes me up more often then not.

Re: Taking the plunge

I know it’s a super tough time for you @outlander . I try to follow your thread. I keep up something, not always though. It can get busy over there. My mind doesn’t cope with too much information, so I check when things get a bit quiet. It doesn’t mean I don’t care though. I just don’t alway have the right words. 💞💞💞

Re: Taking the plunge

That’s interesting @CheerBear i was looking at chalk paint yesterday. Furniture looks fabulous with it. Love the knots etc in wood.

I have a sneering suspicion unwell person might be interested in the drill driver @CheerBear, or they might have one of their own. Sounds like this is really good for both of you. It must be hard.

We are having frosts most morning now. I like the cold, but some crafts don’t, so waiting sucks.

Today I will tidy. Plumber tomorrow. 👍👍👍
