Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear That’s a really tough night. I’m sorry. Nights can be my worst times also. Seeing the light of morning helps, even if it’s cold and frosty. 0 is very cold also.
Sitting by the fire with a coffee sounds good, comforting hopefully. Is there a dog companion beside you?
Yesterday I did a bit of gardening, sorted out my strawberry patch. It was too cold to stay out for long. Even fur baby agreed. 🐶🐶🐾🐾🍓🍓🍓
How did your walk and chickens go? How is today looking?

Re: Taking the plunge
Dog is with well one, both snoring. She's a shadow there which is beautiful. She's Just an incredible dog. So trustworthy and connected with the crew, and so faithful. I'm missing my furballs. They'd be so cold. Do you have your baby cuddled up next to you?
Gardening sounds nice but so cold where you are at the moment! Did you decide what to put in the damp patch?
I didn't walk yesterday as I was very tired. Big and Middle took dog for a walk on their own instead. They're getting big and grown up. The chickens are heaps of fun. We let them out in the yard and tried to get dog used to them. A circus but a fun one.
Today we'll head home and start back to school prep. I'd like to do the supermarket today rather than tomorrow when it will be busier, but we'll see. Uniforms, lunch boxes, school bags all need to be found.
How about your day?

Re: Taking the plunge
There’s lots of tricky stuff happening @CheerBear. New job, Middle with struggles, home schooling, Coronavirus, just to name a few. I think they wrap around other internal stuff. It’s tricky trying to unravel or unwind. Unexpected can take us off guard. Strangely, even the good unexpected. Sometimes it’s the later that trips me big time. 💞💞💞
I understand missing your fur babies atm. They would know exactly what to do to help. 🐈🐈🐈
Dog sounds perfect, they always are. My girl was lying right up my back last night. Needing to be warm. She keeps coming out from under the doona and gets cold. Then needs a human hotty......me. Lol

Re: Taking the plunge
Sorry @CheerBear I hit post by mistake in the middle of a conversation. 🤪🤪🤪
The damp patch is tricky, it has very large ugly fungus. It doesn’t get sun in summer either, so I will need to do some research.
The Crew getting big and grownup. I imagine a bitter sweet feeling, but not sure.
You are sounding very tired. That was a big part of your crash last time, if I have that correct. Big hug, as I know there is little more you can do atm. 💙💞💞
Back to school might be the start of things easing up. I hope so. It’s been a very hard time, months and months of uncertainty. A busy day ahead again. 💞💞
I’m not sure if church is up and running today, restrictions have eased here. I will find out in no online broadcast comes through. I don’t want to arrive and look silly on my own.
My kitchen needs rescuing, I wish I could rent it out. So, I’ll be searching. 🙏🙏

@CheerBear A big day in the Cheerbear household today. I hope the morning rush isn’t to hectic.
I’m hoping there will be some down time for you. I know you have work, but 🤞🤞🤞.
Another cold and frosty morning here. ❄️❄️⛄️⛄️🌬🌬
Dropping off coffee☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge
Did you work out church yesterday and whether it is back?
It's a public holiday today so I'm not working. It's a getting ready for back to school day today. Nervous crew which is so understandable. I feel a bit conflicted about it. Very much looking forward to space and time and them being back with friends and people, but I'll miss them and I don't like the way it's all changed at the schools either.
How's today looking for you, aside from cold?
Thanks and hugs to you @Shaz51 ❤

Re: Taking the plunge
I thought that might have happened @CheerBear. Sorry you were mentally stuck there all day though. Was that a tough space to be stuck in? Though the word ‘ stuck’ is significant I think.
I forgot today is a holiday.
I can imagine the nerves, and excitement about tomorrow for all of you. So much has changed, and possibly, changed forever. Yep, you will certainly miss them, that’s for sure.
My cleaning help isn’t coming, of course, because it’s a holiday. I’ll get it, eventually.
Church was online, so updates will be happening from now on as to what is starting up.
My Painting lady from previous address is coming tomorrow, so lessens are on again. I’m looking forward to catching up.
I painted a stone yesterday. Tricky some days, easy others.
Today I will get ready for tomorrow. I will need to take the table back to the other room so we have something to use. I will eventually get it sorted without shuffling, but shuffling for now.
Any down time for you all today.?

Re: Taking the plunge
That's really awesome about your painting lady. Will it be strange having her over after a long time of not? We've all found it a bit odd to start with to see people again. I hear you with the shuffling. I'll have to get to that too now there is no more school from home. With work still from home for a little while and school holidays not far away, I'm not keen on moving it all back quickly just yet.
I'm taking some time out this morning before I get busy and then probably won't stop for a while. I have a feeling tomorrow will be a struggle wondering how the kids are going and not being able to really see them until a couple of hours after they get home.
I'm dreaming about building a chicken coop for our house. I have no idea how to build but figured there's YouTube to teach me 😉 Definitely a dream only but fun to think of. My Pinterest account grew in all things chicken coop haha.
