Re: Taking the plunge
Yesterday was great thanks 😊 It was a pretty standard kind of day as far as workload, hiccups, tricky stuff etc so a good one to start with and be able to measure my ability to do this against. There are big changes happening in this team including the way the day is structured, and I really like it. The day is broken into chunks which allows some change of pace throughout the day. Everyone is super supportive, welcoming and encouraging which feels great. Today would usually be the shift I am on so I get to see my friends again, one who I trained with and I'm really looking forward to that as it's been a little while now. Back to feeling OK/good about it all 😊 Thank you for asking and caring.
How was your yesterday?

@CheerBear It’s sounding so positive. 👍👍👍💙💙💙💞💞💞They, the managers, sound like they are caring for everyone one board. Such an important part of work life.
You are sounding good about it, like it’s going better ( I hope I have that right) than you expected. Meeting up with another special person today is something to look forward to. It’s sounding really really good.
My yesterday happened. It’s over. Spoke with counsellor on the phone. Reassurance that all is ok, mis understanding happen, it’s the restrictions of our language sometimes, plus history. Not always a good mix.
Heading to my cave today.

Re: Taking the plunge
Yesterday sounds tricky for you. Language can get so muddled up. Sometimes words just don't work and somewhere between where they're said (or not said) and where they are heard (or not), they get extra jumbled. How were you after speaking with her?
Is it good cave day weather? You turn purple here today I think. That's a special and significant moment 💜

@CheerBear This door opening for you is such a big part of recovery. Knowing you are working in an environment where respect is given and received, is something that will keep this heading in a really positive direction. Who knows where this will lead in recovery. Wow. Big feels here. 💞💞
Weirdly, I felt worse after speaking with her. Relieved, but fallen in a heap of dark. Maybe adrenaline, not sure. But it’s being worked through. Quiet inside now, that’s a relief.
Yes. Perfect cave weather. Cold and bleak. Moody weather.
But the sun is shining in you world, always a good feel here. Enjoy every moment. I know you will. ☀️☀️☀️

I'm sorry it feels worse after speaking with her. Adrenaline often causes a crash for me too. I'm glad to hear it's quiet inside for now. So hard to live with any kind of calm when it's loud inside.
Moody weather is great cave weather. I woke to the world here looking like Narnia. There's a street lamp right out the front and a thick fog was out this morning. I love seeing the way the light tries to make its way through the fog. It gets there in the end, but it's messy and a bit scattered on the way (very symbolic I guess 🤔)
