A little relieved @Maggie but very unsure and confused along with it. Nothing official yet. 😔 So still holding my breath. 💘

I pulled out paints @Maggie, then got lost in a world. Do you ever paint and know you should stop and let things dry but keep going anyway then stuff it up royally?! Story of my life there 😆 Patience is not my thing.
Glad cleaning helping lady is understandable. Super tough time at the moment for you. It's OK to avoid and to time out when you need. I am not sure what restrictions have been lifted where bro is but hopefully it's enough for him to feel a smidge better about things and a bit more connected.
The doubts suck. I feel like I'm just waiting for people to see straight through me, all the time. Time helps. This will definitely take some of that. Thank you for your lovely words and encouragement as always. I giggled at the good looking. Odd looking more like it but it's nice to be able to dream up whatever we'd like on the forum. I often wonder if forumites look the way I see them/you in my imagination 🤔😁

Lol @CheerBear I’ve done so much of the, not waiting for paint to dry. Some use a hair dryer, I don’t own one, but might soon. 😂😂😂
I understand the waiting for people to see straight through you feels. I often have discussions with counsellor about maybe I’m deceiving her, hard to believe soneone can find some good in the rubble. It will take time. Lots of theses for the ugh feels, mixed with excitement. 💙💙💙💙💙
I have images of what people on the forums might look like also. 😂😂😂
I forget to mention, the travelling kindness rock lady had a little person sitting beside her, painting mandala s just like you and the crew. I often look at the happy hands pics you posted here.
Hope today has good in it for you. 💜💜💜💜
@Former-Member I think it will be ok. But that doesn’t help your anxiety levels. Hopefully today will help with test. Thinking of you.💙💙💙💙

I feel less weird knowing you feel the worry of others seeing through you too. I don't get this one. My psych tried to unpack it a bit with me at our appointment but it got very muddled with some label talk he was doing. He said something about living a life of not being good enough and of seeing to other's needs over mine. Then a bit about having a wonky self-identity which is when I flipped at him a little. I don't think it's wonky self-identity as much as it is wonky self-acceptance. Made me ponder and think a bit.
Annnyway.
I love that you saw my happy little hands playing with dots ❤️ I wish I could share who they are more than I can here. They are the most awesome wee peeps around. I might try and hunt down the travelling kindness rock lady while I do mine 🙂
Just caught the news about school returning. Finally a plan! I can start getting ready for life to be normal. It is still weeks away but there is an end. YAY! Now to wait for news about when we return to the office. But yay anyway!

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I looked up self identity = a perception or recognition of one’s characteristics as a particular individual, especially in relation to social context.
Self acceptance = is an individual s satisfaction or happiness with oneself, and is thought to be necessary for good mental health. Self acceptance involves self understanding , a realistic, albeit subjective, awareness of one’s strengths and weaknesses.
I think from my understanding of those two brief quotes, you are spot on in where your thinking is going. Seeing to others needs above your own is a tricky one for me, maybe you and lots of other people maybe. I’ve struggled with this one big time, as I’ve cared for others since the year dot. It’s ingrained, but does that necessary mean negative? Maybe there’s a balance that tips from one to the other, but can become lobsided. Just my thoughts.
Yea, a school plan. Things are coming to an end, or a beginning. 🤔🤔
Bro rang back this morning, he can go back to the pub on Friday , I think that s what he said. 10 customers at a time. He’s not sure how it will work, but it’s a start.
I’m also nearly finished my canvas and stone. Show and tell later???
Off to check if the second layer is dry. 😂😂

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear ... I really hope you have something to show off later too with your stone. Patience is not one of my virtues either, I have to say.
It must be such a relief to finally have a return to school date. And now you can plan around school, work, extended family, Mr Friend. Hmmmm ... sounding very packed, no matter which way you look at things. But I know you will manage ... you're pretty amazing, and clearly are able to schedule things well in order to get through all that you do. That said ... I am very relieved that today is including a bit of me time for you as well. 👍🌺
@Maggie .. brother returning to pub from Friday ... happy days for him. 😊 Relief for many I expect. No pubs or clubs opening here in NSW for at least another month I think ... likely not until July. I will be relieved when they do open. A small window of respite for me ... time alone. And Mr Sherry will be very happy of course.
Sherry 💕
