@CheerBear 🎂🌰🍫🍬🍩But chocolate is so yummy. Doesn't go well with loneliness however. It's much better shared.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I read your message with a tear. I feel your sadness, both for yourself and others. This might be the first Easter in history to be packed with so many challenges. I’m lost for words with it all.

I know you have a video hot cross bun brekky this morning, I’m sending big feels to you all. I know it’s super hard, I also know super hard doesn’t come close either.

My yesterday ended up being a cleaning day. My help is off this week, and my brain needed a break. I have a squeaky clean flat. 👍👍👍

First coffee is down with a chocolate bunny. Leaving one here for later. Take care today @CheerBear ❣️❣️❣️

@Appleblossom I understand lots might be stirred up for you with this recent stuff. As you write so often to us....go gently. ❣️❣️❣️ I haven’t listened to the video, but I will later. Neighbors might object at this hour. 😁😁

@TheVorticon @outlander @Sans911 @eth @Gazza75 Sherry. 👋👋💙💙

❤ @Sans911 @Maggie and all

I came by early to send some ❤ and ☕ @Maggie, just as Mr sent a very early message so we spoke until the crew woke up. It was nice to spend this morning with him but very twisted with sadness for both of us too. Once the crew were up it was bonkers here. Yay for over-compensating with chocolate :face_with_rolling_eyes:😆 Little was over the top excited which was cute 😊 Middle got Lindt gold bunnies of their own which seemed to be the highlight of their life 😁 I sent some pics to well person who then called. Happy to see the happy but sad to not be together. Such a mixed up morning 😐

Hope the clean flat feels good this morning Maggie and that you're not too sore after it. Chocolate bunny with coffee is a great brekkie I think.

@Sans911 I hope you have some chocolate and some good in your day.

Sending mega love, hugs and thoughts. Big sigh 🙁❤🐰🍫🐣❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning and Happy Easter @Maggie @CheerBear @Sans911 @outlander @Appleblossom and anyone else here today.

Hope you all have some chocolate and some chats with loved ones, near, far or here. My day so far - poetry by the pool with bro and sil and have contacted 9 people afar so far by phone or fb. Have decided to get over my hump about people not initiating contact with me and reach out to a few each day. Even scheduled it as part of my new daily routine. Which is evolving daily. Brunch shortly with bro, sil and her mum - eggs and easter buns. And belatedly remembered I have an extra phone session with my psychologist at 11 (she's been sick 4 out of the last 5 sessions and I possibly only have 3 more before she goes on maternity leave). Looking forward to that.

Take care everyone, might see you later. xoxo

@CheerBear @Maggie @Appleblossom

No Easter eggs here but I do have chocolate. If I feel like it. I don't generally celebrate Easter in any way as I live alone. And I'm not Christian. And yes, this year is way hard because I can't even visit anyone. But it's OK. It's not that different from other years. Just a long drawn out weekend.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Sans911 Hope your day has some highlights and is peaceful for you.

Hi again to others maybe here @Maggie @CheerBear @outlander @Appleblossom @Mazarita Psychologist ap't was good, but she said next Wed will be the last one, if she's even able to do it. She's working from bed having had a scare with her pregnancy and may have to stay in bed for another 6 weeks or more. So the whole transferring me to someone else isn't going to happen as planned. Damn it, but one of those things neither I nor she can control. All that will happen is she will send me a few names and it's up to me to check them out and organise referral from GP or psychiatrist. Although they will be trauma informed, she said because things are the way they are atm (having to be done by telehealth etc) deep trauma work is unlikely. More just managing current things as they unfold. She says she'll be back in November - but again I know that things could change between now and then. I'm already having separation anxiety and the beginnings of grief. 2 1/2 years work with her being put on hold. Hoping upon hope that I don't slip backwards in the interim. Sorry this might not be the best place for this rave, but here it is anyway.

Take care everyone xoxo

Re: Taking the plunge

@eth I really feel for you, as finding a good fit with trauma counselling is so important, but really tricky. I think it’s important to grieve loss, whatever way it visits and leaves.

We are here with and for you @eth . Never any need to apologise, a thread is only a thread because of the input each one of us puts into it. 💕💕💕
