Re: Taking the plunge

Thank you @Maggie and I hope whatever your own situation is that you can get through it also. Sometimes things come so out of the blue and completely floor us - and yes it will take time to work through but I so much appreciate your kind thoughts and support - yet another example of what a wonderful person you are 💛🧡💚💙💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Maggie and @eth. Sorry about it taking a hour to get a box Maggie. That sucks 🙁 Wish I could drop some things by for you.

The shop was much better than I hoped. I was able to get everything I needed except corn (for corn soup - kind of important for that recipe). It was a huge relief and we have fresh stuff again 🎉

Baking for us this weekend. Caramel slice, muffins etc. 🙂

Hope the morning has gone well for all

It was more my lack of technical skills than anything else @CheerBear .

So good you managed to get most of what you need.

Baking @CheerBear caramel slice and muffins. 👍👍👍👍Yum. I hope it is enjoyable, cooking and eating. 💙💙💙

Re: Taking the plunge

Love from me too @Zoe7 I'm relieved to see you xx

@Maggie @CheerBear just back from a drive (me driving!) with bro. We went to Aldi unexpectedly and then our fave bakery. I went in at Aldi - first time I've been anywhere for nearly 3 weeks. I realised that some things in the world I don't actually miss! But got the things I need to get through at least another week before a bigger shop online. Only bro went in at bakery and he completely forgot what I wanted - a piece of lumberjack cake that would have been my treat for today. Oh well I'll just have to crack open the easter eggs I bought!!

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie hugs. I'll drop you off some virtual soup and slice later ❤

Go you with driving @eth! Shame about the cake though. I'm trying to avoid cracking open the bags of bunny eggs I have stashed away 😆

Lots of hugs back @Shaz51. Hope you are all as OK as you can be ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

So hard @Shaz51 and something that's probably not realistic allllll the time. I think there's definitely a place for acknowledging the challenges, loss, fear and not-so-positive. It's OK to not always be feeling OK. Hugs ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie and hi to all 👋

It's so cold here this morning. I had two cats and a kid snuggled up in my bed this morning, all who came in cold throughout the night.

My turn to drop off a cuppa this morning @Maggie. This one is inspired by warm cats 😊
