@CheerBear My first ☕️☕️☕️☕️. Good morning. 💜💜

I hope the feral look yesterday wasn’t too scary, and you have milk this morning. 😂😂.

Also I hope you were happy with what you managed to accomplish at your gig.

Its Saturday, days are all feeling much the same. ❤️❤️❤️

@Zoe7 I think I understand some of what you are feeling atm. I’m not at liberty to say, but I can say I care about you, that I know this is hard, that it will ease, but leave a scar. Sending lots of 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

@CheerBear @eth @Snowie @Faith-and-Hope @Appleblossom @outlander @Zoe7 @TheVorticon @Gazza75 and anyone passing. I was looking through the net and found this. You might have already seen it, but it’s new to me. I thought it was beautiful.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie and hi to all 👋

Need strong coffee this morning 😖☕

I worked all day and into the evening. It felt good but long and big.

How was your yesterday? How was counsellor?

That ⬆️ is beautiful ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

I hope you have milk for your strong coffee @CheerBear .

Yesterday sounds big and tiring.....but good. Well done. 👍👍

Counsellor went really well. Untangled some twisted thinking. So much to think about, think through, try to make sense out of.

I thought ⬆️⬆️ Was beautiful also.

Are you having a quiet day today??

Just finished my second ☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

I have milk today @Maggie 🙂 I'd be in trouble without coffee this morning haha. I feel like I have a hangover. Super weird because there's no reason for it.

I phoned around yesterday, a lot, and got to know your part of the world which was nice 😊

Glad counsellor went well. It helps to have someone untangle the twisted sometimes. How much is the global situation impacting the tangled for you (out of curiosity and only if you'd like to answer)?

Quiet is probably the only way to spend the day I guess. Games and I have to go to the chemist which means I have to leave the house and get in the car for the first time in a week so I should probably go the big supermarket (for the first time in a week too - I've said it everyday and am yet to do it).

How about you?

Re: Taking the plunge

I think there is every reason for feeling like you have a hangover @CheerBear . Lots and lots of conversation and communication. Lots of energy goes into that kind of work.

I wonder if one of the people you spoke with in my area was my counsellor, it’s a small world. It’s a nice thought anyway.

The global stuff is impacting a lot of stuff with my twisted thinking. In saying that, I specialise in twisted thinking quite naturally. My problem mainly is, how come everyone else isn’t like this. I wonder if they are, just unaware maybe.

I’m reading a book about pain. It’s thought about negatively. Trying to understand, or make some sense of my journey, which majors in pain. Interesting.

I do understand the reluctance to go out. Mixed reasons I guess. Crowds, plus risks.

Re: Taking the plunge

I too wondered whether there were people or places I spoke with that, in some way, have been connected with you @Maggie 😊 It feels confronting in a way, to be doing things like this, but only as it hits home how giant the impact is. What was lovely, like really really lovely, was speaking with so many people and places finding creative ways to provide support. I found places doing virtual pantries of free food, little out back churches doing food runs to isolated families, volunteers in big cities dropping essential supplies around to people's doors... and everyone more than happy to share what they're doing and take time to share resources and ideas. It's that good in all the bad. Best ❤

I hear you with the complex twisting and also with the feeling of wondering why it seems like others aren't like it too. Hmmm 🙁😏 So glad you have counsellor.

That book sounds tricky and challenging. You read some incredible stuff. Deep pondering I imagine.

I like our little bubble of safety right now. I don't want it to go pop and also don't want to go outside and see people behaving in ways that leave me feeling sad.

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @Maggie and @CheerBear strong coffee here again too!

Mags I absolutely love that quote. I shared it to everyone I know when I first saw it. Good to hear your counsellor is helpful. I really missed seeing my psychologist this week. I suspect most people are having waves of anxiety and 'this is serious' realisations, but not necessarily admitting it to anyone. In our society it's so common for folk to mask their true feelings.

CB hope your hangover disappears soon and you get to the supermarket (I call it the hypermarket!) and can get everything you want.

Love you both xx

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @eth and thanks. Supermarket is not my favourite place and never has been :face_with_rolling_eyes: Really hoping I can get some decent fresh fruit and veg at least.

Hope your day has started well x

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I got big warm feelings reading about you reach out connections yesterday. Definitely the good in all the bad. 💜💜

I know there are others sides to it also, but it’s good to find some sort of balance, if balance is a possibility.

Counsellor can do face palms sometimes @CheerBear. She thinks on a deep level also, so conversations are fascinating, and challenging for both of us. I can’t talk to anyone else like I do her, I get that ?? very odd, misfit feeling. So, not being able to converse superficially, convinces me of being a misfit.

I love reading @CheerBear . Sometimes concentrate is poor, but when I can, I do.

Yes to the deep and pondering.

I hope your bubble is safe today. Wherever you go. ❤️❤️❤️
