Re: Taking the plunge
Still no PC either @Maggie , which is a pain. So no windows mail either, where all our bills come in. Hope Im not late with any payments. 😕
Yes hubby happy with TV, maybe I am equally so. He wants his email tho, as he comms with a lit of people via email.
I need to get onto a computer place to work out what we need to do to replace or fix PC port. Dont want to think about cost, but .. We really need it. @Faith-and-Hope
Should do today, but I feel too stressed out. Busy day tomorrow and cant commit to being here or dropping it in. Hubby will freak out if I organise anything and not be here.
I have to visit the nursing home in the morning coz the old lady I visit, turns 90 tomorrow. I have a gift for her and cant miss the day. This is in relation to the volunteering I do.
Then at 12.30pm I have what could be my last, appointment with my psych. And I am really freaking out about it.
I also have a cracked and infected tooth which has been playing up a lot lately. Need to phone and make an apt to get it fixed or pulled out. Very back tooth ... Yuk.
But I will do something about PC tomorrow at some stage.
@CheerBear It sounds like your day did not improve much. 💖@Zoe7 Hope you are feeling more comfortable after your early fall. 💕

Re: Taking the plunge
A busy day tomorrow @Former-Member. A painful tooth is no fun. I hope you get it fixed sooner, rather than later.
I can well imagine freaking out, if it is your last psych appointment. I really hope it isn’t though. That won’t help tonight though. Take care where you can.
Really hot and humid here today. Hard to get anything done.

Oh @Former-Member Possibly your last appointment with this psych - no wonder you are freaking out about it. Hugs and hugs Hon ![]()
I am okay - just really sore and uncomfortable ...and bored not being able to do anything. Just finished a movie but laying around is boring.

@CheerBear Tiptoeing in with a coffee ☕️☕️☕️☕️ My first was over an hour ago, so could be classed as a past midnight drink. 😕😕😕
Hot muggy night here. Very unusual, and very uncomfortable.
I’m hoping today improves, even a tad, for you. Also hoping pain has eased.💙💙
Big comes home from camp today( I think) which means lots of sharing and excitement.
Sending some 💙💙
@Former-Member Thinking of you today. A person celebrating a 90th birthday is quite an achievement. Something I hope to never achieve. I hope the party goes well.
Also your psych appointment. I don’t know what to say, other than, thoughts are with you. 💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge
I am feeling a tad better I think thanks. Some pain still but a bit less bananas in my head maybe (so far at least). It's all been super bad this month and I am really thankful I have an appt with my Dr in a couple of days.
How was the rest of your yesterday?
Two had training again last night and really enjoyed it. I enjoyed getting out and socialising (not like me there) too. It was fun sitting with some other parents watching the kids. Can't imagine it will be so fun in winter though!
Are you off to a meeting this morning? Hope the morning goes well for you. Kettles on if you're around ❤
@Former-Member lots going on for you. Thinking of you, especially with your psych appointment 🙁

Re: Taking the plunge
Just back @CheerBear . The stars earlier this morning were beautiful.
I definitely think the muggy heat had a lot to do with a very early/late coffee.
Glad you are a tad better. Also glad you have a drs appointment on Friday. I remember those bad times. Physically and mentally. They come around way too fast.
Training for two sounds good. Yes, winter will be challenging, no doubts there.
Just boiked the kettle and enjoying another if you are around.
If not, I hope your day goes as well as can be expected. A bit more rest if there’s time. 💛💛💛☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge
How was the meeting this morning? Stars sound fab 😊 Just cloud here today, and some humid drizzle. QLD weather at the moment.
I'm frustrated at how much of an impact this stuff has on my life. Thinking about it, for maybe 7 days (at least) out of 28 I'm either doubled over with cramps and aches and painful swelling or in some bonkers hormotional land of raging angry sadness where I have to stop myself from launching into attack everyone mode or curling up in a hopeless ball of "it's all too hard". Not ideal 😏. I'm going to ask about surgery to remove all the bits so I don't have to deal with it anymore. Three crew members is (more than) enough so maybe a Dr will allow it 🤞
I just found a little note from one of mine to the camp kid welcoming them home. They have nicknames for each other (mushroom and squirrel). I have no idea where they got them from and love the sibling in-joke they have going there. It's nice to catch a reminder that they do actually like each other sometimes too 😉😆
Did you hear from counsellor? How's the rest of your day looking?

Re: Taking the plunge
That’s not ideal @CheerBear . And I agree 3 is enough. I think you have the right to choose, and make a better quantity of life. Pain and anguish every 21 days is no life.
My anorexia took care of a lot of that stuff. Stopped the lot. 😁😁😁👍👍👍
I’d go with your choice though, any day. Good luck on Friday.
The meetings are going well. The group, only 6 , are welcoming and warm caring kind of people. Not too many want to be up and about at that hour. It’s only this week.
I shared the big MH. So far so good there. Just a mention was all. So I could get a feel for where they are at. So I will continue.
They have activities during the week. Impressive really. Not just a holy roll. 😇😇😇
Yes, counsellor rang yesterday. No time organised yet, she’s busy, so I’ll sit tight a bit longer.
Love the nick names. It must be fun ( sometimes) getting into their mindsets. I liked the name my girl got too. She does get some smiles when we go out.
Hope some colour is left after the cut. Are you wearing mermaid boots? 🧜♀️🧜♀️
I need to head out and do some shopping, but might not happen today. Still trying to do the iPad update. Stuck with maybe meeting person. 😕😕😕
