Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @CheerBear and anyone else around. Dropping off ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

I hope the the birthday party went as well as it could, knowing there are mixed feelings there.

I’m guessing today might continue with celebrations, or cleaning up, or both. I hope there’s been some good in there for you. 💜💜💜💜 Listening If you would like, sitting if that’s a better feel right now. 💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @Maggie

@CheerBear I hope your delayed presence this morning means you are getting a much needed sleep in. I think your unwell person's birthday would have many difficult emotions involved. I hope everything went okay.

Hey @Maggie ... I'd love a nice hot cuppa tea. Can I sit with you over a coffee in your new back yard? I would love to check it out. It sounds nice.

I have bacon and egg muffins happening here for breakfast if anyone would like to indulge in a Sunday treat. I got some bacon out of the freezer last night to defrost, plenty of eggs and got some old english muffins. And BBQ sauce to top it off of course. Bit hungry this morning, as I skipped dinner last night. Fed hubby, but needed to disappear as he was on the warpath. So I made myself scarse until he went to bed early. So a nice nourishing breakfast is needed. I even have some of my nice home grown herbs I can put on the side to make them look pretty. @Appleblossom @Owlunar @outlander

Oh hey ... guess what? We had a tiny bit of rain last night! A whole half of a mm. 😟

Okay so I best go and awaken the beast. He will be all apologetic this morning no doubt. Sigh.

Sherry 😊💕

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member That brekky looks good. 😍😍😍

Sorry you had to make yourself scarce last night, but glad you did.

I’ve just been outside trying to clear the bottle brush tree. It’s being overtaken by a jasmine vine, a climbing rose, and something else. It’s going to take some time, but a bit each day if I can.

A bit of rain in your area. I’m surprised you didn’t dance in it. I hope you get much more.

Hows the smoke now?

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie Its good that you have a garden that you can tend once again. Yes, a bit each day is the way to go. You will get it the way you want it. I guess daZi is happy to have a garden to potter around in again.

Oh no Maggie, half a mm of rain is not enough to dance in. It remains overcast today, so maybe we will get some more showers later today. That would be nice. Maybe I will get to dance in the rain after all.

The smoke is much reduced today. I think 2 of the nearest 3 fires to us are now under control. The third they are still working on. But I suspect we will have smoke around for a while yet, even when all fires are finally under control. Some of the forrests and bushland will continue to smoulder and smoke for weeks afterwards.

@outlander Are you seeing your GP today re your ultrasound results? I meant to post on yours last night to ask how you were doing ... but failed. The thought was there though. How are you doing anyway ... has the pain subsided at all?

@eth I hope you are enjoying your stay with your brother and your sil at their farm this weekend. Safe travels home.

Sherry 😊🌹

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Former-Member @outlander @Maggie @CheerBear @Appleblossom and anyone else here today.

@Former-Member @outlander I ended up coming home last night with the others as they had an event on and I didn't want to stay at the farm by myself in an area where fires haven't been far away.

Hope all are having a peaceful day. Thinking of you @CheerBear must be a lot of mixed feelings happening today.

And you @Former-Member I really feel for you living with hubby's cycle of bad behaviour - apology - more bad behaviour - another apology etc. I hope you can find a way to break the cycle together sometime soon. I've lived it too and really empathise with you.

Take care all xx

Hi @Former-Member

That sounds and looks like a wonderful breakfast - I would have loved to share that with you - I had an Up-and-Go for breakfast and went back to sleep but enjoyed a steak, fried potatoes and baby peas for an early lunch - that was pretty great too

It's a good idea to make yourself scarce when hubby goes on a rampage - a pity about him hey - I guess you had breakfast on your own in peace and quiet - that would be wishful thinking perhaps -

And you had a whole half mm of rain - great

We had some very dirty rain - I don't know when - I noticed that my rear windows are splotchy

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Lovely brekky

@Maggie Its great you have found a job in the garden. I have been busy and finally given up worrying about cat not eating all the big cans of fish ... the leftovers makes great fertiliser.

I was neatening up my Little John Banksia.

@eth Sounds wise to come home.

@outlander Gently Gently

Hugs

Ha ha @Owlunar Dirty rain ..lol All the grit and debris from the wind decorated my car which the rain barely touched.

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear dropping off ☕️☕️☕️ hoping things are ok enough at your end.

Very much thinking of you. 💜💜💜

@Owlunar Not long now to the big appointment. Might be tomorrow, I’ve lost count of the days. Sending kind thoughts and wishes, that this gives much relief. 💕💕

@Appleblossom It’s nice having my hands in the soil again. Therapeutic in so many ways. Eventually I hope to grow a few vegetables, eventually. My baby has a small patch of grass, sometimes she seems to be enjoying. She leaves me to the gardening, lol 💕💕
