Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie. Starting somewhere in the middle sounds like a good balance 😏 Is it OK for you to have a not working start button today? It sounds like a nice break from one that is usually working from very early.

I'm frustrated at my lack of sleep. I don't think I managed 3 hours in. I can't help feel kind of unnerved by it hoping it isn't the start of some kind of big spiral down. Worrying about worrying in a way. Silly but real for me.

How was your yesterday? I found something that made me giggle and think of you. It said "It's been a long week - said me in the middle of Tuesday". By Monday afternoon you'd already taken on more than enough for the week and then some.

Was there something that stopped you sleeping? I did an eye roll to myself after writing that, knowing only some of what you are juggling, atm and always. @CheerBear

I just feel drugged, even though I haven’t taken any extra meds. I think it’s that tired and beyond feeling, emphasise on beyond.

I wish I could slow down, but I’m made for pushing through to breaking point. 🙃🙃🙃

Re: Taking the plunge

I woke with bad dreams about the house and the owners @Maggie. From there my catastrophising head went to every worst case scenario about every little and big thing going on. It was all bad news. Stuck frozen in thought with a body urging me to get up and move furniture around for some ridiculous reason. Cute reminder that I'm not as OK as I would like to be or think I am sometimes maybe.

I'm not surprised you're feeling the way you are. What you've had to deal with has been a test of strength and perseverance for a long time. Then the shock and sudden merging of it all coming to a head at once. That really does take a toll.

I get the pushing to breaking point. I do it too I think. It's a way of coping but one that has its flip side.

I'm really tired, teetering on teary, short fused, scattered and not good company. Really annoyed at myself. I had a good day yesterday and have been trying so hard to get things back on track. I did all the right things to sleep well and was super tired last night, but nothing helped. Feels hopeless to know you can try as much as you want but sometimes it doesn't seem to do a thing 🙁

I'm going to take my sad and sorry self off to get through the morning and face the day. Hope there's some rest and some gentle for you today ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I think I get most of what you are saying. I asked strange questions yesterday while talking to my counsellor about previous landlord. Can he do this, that and the other. And yes, worst case scenario, will you visit if I’m locked up kind of silly but very real feelings.

We do strange things to cope, even trying to our run thoughts etc, moving furniture, pushing to breaking point, but we can only do what we can do, even if , to the world, it’s crazy.

I’m sitting with you in and through today @CheerBear , we can be teary together. Your company is always good by tge way. 💜💜💜💕💕💕

Hi @Maggie @CheerBear 😀💕☕

Fire situation continues to ease here thanks @Maggie . Although the smoke is not letting up. Still backburning happening to try to maintain containment lines. Very hot here yday, and windy. When will you be shopping for a new washer and microwave?

Sorry to hear you had a bad night @CheerBear . Those ones are hard to take. I get that a lot.

I hope the day improves for you both.

Sherry
