Re: Taking the plunge
We posted at the same time @CheerBear. Looks like one of those kind of days.
I will find out this morning how cage rattling and dragon flames went, before the meeting, which I sooooo want to cancel.
My first ☕️ Is heading for a second already. Oh gosh, I don’t want today.

Yes @CheerBear the assessment that was cancelled at the last minute last week.
How did yesterday go?
I cant see you sneaking past that pup for a very early coffee this morning. That also says a lot. 💜☕️☕️
I can imagine lots of puppy love and LF.
Hope the BIG today goes well, really well.

Re: Taking the plunge
Yesterday was really good thanks 🙂 35 here and it was a struggle for us all being the first big temp day for many months. (Was it hot where you were?) We all sat in the backyard under the shade of the big lemon tree. Lots of icy poles and take away for dinner. It was great.
I woke puppy up, creeping around putting some 🎈🎉 up :face_with_rolling_eyes: But I think she's gone back to sleep now 🤞We had a wonky night with her, the heat, the lounge sleeping, the wind blowing everything around, unwell person uncomfortable... Massive effort for a short event really.

Yes @CheerBear same time/place. And yes, faithful counsellor will be here. She comes every Friday. So lucky with that.
Last night sounds really good, apart for the first 35 ( that’s hot ). 🌞🌞🌞 We also had a hot day, our first. Didn’t catch what we reached. Felt good to have a bit of heat after a long cold winter. Though I will moan about the heat.
Massive effort from everyone there. So sorry for the uncomfortable night for unwell person. I guess many uncomfortable nights there. Really hard watching, not being able to do much.
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 the event goes well. Might be some tough in today for you all, plus some good.
I knew you wouldn’t get past pup @CheerBear 🐶🐶🐶

Re: Taking the plunge
I too will complain about the heat soon. I liked yesterday before 30° I think. Silly me wore a black dress and boots. I almost cooked myself but it was worth it for the twinkle haha! I bumped in to someone who said they could see me from all the way up the street with the sparkle happening 😁
I struggle watching unwell person that way and thinking of their struggles. And knowing when to step in and help and when to hand back as they like to push and try on their own.
I think today might be feely for unwell one and maybe well one, but the two Little's will just be excited to have them there and probably not thinking beyond that, which is great. I'm not going which I'm super OK with. There's no need for me to and I have an appt with my psych which is a very needed one after the last fortnight. It was a big struggle to get here and this was my "just get through until I see him" one. I did it 🙂

@CheerBear My counsellor and I are heading into our 14th years of working together. I really like the working together, as that’s what it is. She took me on, when everyone else wouldn’t. So very grateful to find gems. I wouldn’t be here without her, no doubt there.
You did make me laugh, in a nice way, with your black dress and sparkly boots on a 35 degree day. That’s love for you. Plus sparkly happening all up the street, Yey. 🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍👍
Another ‘ I did it’ @CheerBear and well done you. So much being thrown AT you. Good to know psych is there to unravel the tangles and steady the boat.
Will be thinking of you all today, sending 💜💜
I’m heading for a third ☕️☕️☕️ Topup.

Re: Taking the plunge
I've done well to still be on one but my cup is very empty and the only reason it is one is because I now know puppy will hear through my creeping :face_with_rolling_eyes: I've been outside since I woke up listening to the birds, but need to head inside for something so I'll see if I can sneak via the kettle 🤞

Re: Taking the plunge
I’m listening to blackbird song @CheerBear 💕💕💕
14 years is unusual. I can’t do the normal ( whatever that is ) therapy stuff. My history is painfully unfolding. It’s one of those, I will only ever say this once, and to one person. I find the system as it is at present, evasive and uncaring. How can trauma be repeated and repeated, to different people. Another of my many soap boxes.
Good luck getting to the kettle @CheerBear you will be spotted. 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶
I’m heading to the shower, then a tree 😁😁😁 and some tidying before the meet and greet.
Thanks for your company this morning. It’s helped. I think I’ve got this now. 💪💪💕💕💕💕
