Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Gazza75 . Yeah lots on, but I think I'm just about got everything done that I need to before leaving in the morning. Worried that I will forget to get hubbys new meds (meant to be kept in fridge) from the fridge in the rush to get out the door in the morning. Will no doubt worry about that all night, as I do. But if it wasnt that, it would be something else. Still no further news about my BiL. But at least my Dad is a little better than he was a few days ago, at least according to my brother. He lives on a farm and insisted my Dad stay with him this long weekend. So apparently he has picked up a bit from Thurs/Fri. One less worry. Still no further news from over in the West. Hubby's Dad has not been told how seriously ill his youngest son is. All he knows is that he had a fall and is in hospital. The family are worried that if they tell him just how bad things are, that he will just give up himself as well. He is very frail, and 93 is a good age. Hope they can hang in there long enough for me to get hubby over there to see them both.

So ... nearly done with preps. Neighbour will collect our mail while we are away. Fish and birds organised to be looked after by neighbour, and they are also having Holly stay with them. I know she'll be fine there, but still worry. Only thing I really need to do now is to pack a bag for myself. Hubby's is done already. Oh .. how could I forget ... Still gotta pack Hollys bag too.

How's your weekend going @Gazza75 ? I have seen your latest Craft thread pics. Nice.

Hi @Maggie @CheerBear @Bunniekins . Yes @Former-Member ... thanks for the reminder. 👍

@Zoe7,. I am.fine, just at the gym for a little while. Relieved to hear about cat. Thanks for updating us all. Need to get an early night tonight as I have to drop my car off at garage and then get the train to work .. bit of a hike. Hopefully it's only in for the day.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hopefully it is just the day @Gazza75 I would be lost without my car - transport here isn't great - especially once you get further out of the city. It's better than when I was young though - we only had 2 buses a day that left and returned to the town I lived in.

I do have a little more hope with Cat - she has certainly made her presence felt tongiht - so hungry after your anaesthetic today.

@Bunniekins I haven't been in a good way but had some more positive (maybe) news about Cat so holding onto that for now.
