Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks heaps @Maggie 😊 I'm proud of me too. It has hope written all over it for me. I really hope one day I can do more of this, but for now I'm very OK with where I am. I'm at our first home as I am back at the gig today then straight to the second home from there. Unwell person has a scan tomorrow which I'll take them to. Big results next week. The little crew had a great day yesterday and went rock hunting in the forest. Apparently they found rose quartz and gold (which was probably more like red and yellow dirt on stones lol) so they were very excifed to tell me all about it and felt like the hit the jackpot haha 😉😆
I'm sorry you struggled with the letter. The condensed version of really tough stuff, stated from one perspective that has to be said, really sucks and can be very confronting I find. I had one come through yesterday about the NDIS and if I'd say with it too long it would have fried me. I really don't like that that's the way it has to be 🙁 I hope Thursday has an outcome that's helpful. You're doing everything you can to get it.
How's today looking for you?

@CheerBear The gig is so very positive in your live in so many ways. I hope it leads to doors open widely for you to walk through. You do deserve that.
Of course, I forgot about the gig today. It’s already looking good there so far for you.
Heading back to your second home today. Scan and results, brings things back to earth, it’s tough.
I had a smile at the rock finds. 😁😁 partially the gold. My ex was a dreamer and took me gold hunting one day. It was one of many for him, my first and last. I expected the smallest to be the size of my finger nail ( at least ). Instead, we had to wait for the sun to shine on the tiniest of specs . I was gob smacked. He even convinced me to make small pottery cups to melt it in. 😁😁😁
Sorry about the NDIS letter. 💕💕💕
Today is a short meeting, not looking forward to it. But if it’s anything like the choir, they won’t turn up 😩😩😩
Apart from that , a quiet one.
Top up. ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

@Maggie i hope your meeting goes as well as it can. Will you be doing any crochet today? My 8 squares has turned into more like 16 now after doing a few last night 😏💕

Re: Taking the plunge
@Maggie I had a smile at your gold hunting story. That's very cool! I've been out with a metal detector once and loved it. I could totally see myself doing that a lot if I had the time/a forest to play in/a metal detector 😉. It's like hide and seek for grown ups 😁
I'm imagining it's disappointing to pull yourself up and out to something you're not confident will even happen 😏
@outlander good to hear you don't have a lot on today though sorry to hear you had a restless night. Looking forward to seeing your squares if you share. Almost time for you to pick up a mandala madness or sophies universe maybe? 😉😘
I'm not far off heading to get myself up and moving. I have to pack up house one to get to house two and make sure the furballs will be OK. I'll take dotting tools, yarn and hooks with me (all the important stuff haha).
I hope the day has OK or better in it for you both/all. Lotsa ❤

@outlander Wow, that’s a long wait for tyres. 😩😩 I hope they arrive . Pops app, kinds and cleaning, sounds busy to me.
Wow your crochet squares ✔️✔️✔️✔️😁😁😁😁😁💕💕
Yes, i will be doing some this morning. My concentration isn’t much later in the day, so mornings are my best time, mostly.

Re: Taking the plunge
Oh yes you have to take the important stuff 😏
I might share my squares later, i quite like them and glad i didn't let the 'it looks to hard' get in the way. Hmm might be a next project but ill see how hot it gets over summer. I know they get pretty big so might be abit to hot to work on them as yet but im sure ill find something to make 🤔
I hope your days a good one ❣
It is a long wait for tyres i think maybe if i dont hear from them by the time im finished doing a few things this morning ill give them a ring. Maybe they are in but havent had enough time to book my car in. @Maggie
I like looking at others crochet and watching how they progress. Every round in an achievement. 😊 Im not so motivated in the mornings or through the day, im more of a night time person. Even when i was studying, i was quite productive even at 10pm.
Do you have much else on besides your meeting?
