Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I’m sitting up in bed with a little dog leaning all over me. Lol Sorry middle is unwell. Is it what little had early this week. Kids love sharing with everyone eh.

Yesterday was a blah day, big feels and questions and did I let someone down, what did I miss, and the rest. We get fond of people here, and losing someone hurts. But just keep sending kind thoughts and vibes is all that’s left to do.

I did buy a lovely pink paint yesterday, so later today I will be playing.

Re: Taking the plunge

I think it is what Little had, but Middle has been knocked down by it @Maggie. Big, barking cough.

I had a feeling it would hit you. Losing someone always hurts. I hear you with those questions and understand them in these circumstances. The not knowing how someone is can be very tricky. Pink paint and playing sounds special. What type of pink?

Re: Taking the plunge

Lol @CheerBear I can’t spell it, and the spell check has no idea either. Fusher. Lol. I know you’ll get that. I’ve been looking for a decent pink for ages. My painting lady wanted to get some gesso, she’s very kind and doesn’t like using mine. I’m more than happy to share, but understand where she’s coming from.

Barking cough. 😔😔 Does that mean you can’t go out today?

I think my pain meds are making me feel flat also. I’m normally a flat person, but it’s a heavy feeling on top of depression. Tiny pain improvement. It’s hard this life stuff.

Re: Taking the plunge

Oooh for such a dark and twisty person pink is a thing for me haha and that's one of my faves @Maggie 💗. Fuschia. I have to check the spelling of that one every time! Are you painting with your painting lady today?

I don't think we'll be going out with the barking cough, and definitely not going out on the bikes. We're supposed to be off visiting later but I'm not sure we will. Chemo and sick kids are a bad mix. They might want us to though so I'll leave it to unwell person to decide.

Yep life stuff really can be hard. I'm so sorry your pain med has given only tiny improvement. Is the tiny-ness of the improvement driving the flat or is that more of a side effect of the med? Either way that heavy feeling is hard, especially on top of depression 🙁

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Definitely a side affect. The little improvement was having a shower with out the ouch, ohs and whatever. Lol.

Yes chemo and bugs aren’t a good mix. More tricky situations for you.

Painting tomorrow with my lady. She has an appointment this afternoon. I’m pleased as the dining room, where we pain, has so many others there now. Seems like everyone goes there to warm up. If I was a social being I would enjoy it, my painting lady loves it. One of the reasons it’s getting harder and harder to do.

Once I move, if it ever happens, we will paint in my flat.

How are you travelling @CheerBear

Re: Taking the plunge

A shower without the ouch would have been nice but it would be great if there was more than tiny improvement @Maggie. I'm sorry youre in so much pain and now have side effects to manage 🙁

I can understand how it might be less enjoyable to paint in a busy dining room, or even go out to a busy dining room.

I am OK enough this morning thanks. Much, much better than I was a couple of days ago. I felt really well supported through the big crash which made a difference with how long it lasted. I'm trying really hard not to let the NDIS stuff be a tipping point again for me, especially given there's a lot riding on me not tipping over, and I think I have a safety net of a couple of helpful helping people that will do what they can to support me. There's just a bit going on in my head and around me I think.

Re: Taking the plunge

My kind of friend is a career to her friend, they are working through NDIS stuff. It sounds ultra confusing, as most things that are supposed to be simple have become. Yey to simplicity. @CheerBear

So Good you are ok ish, it helps after a big bus crash. That safety net is so important, so glad you have that, them.

Headingbto the kettle for a top up, would you like one.☕️☕️☕️

Morning @outlander How are you travelling?

Re: Taking the plunge

It's ultra confusing @Maggie and hurts my soul. I now have to collect more letters from my safety net people that say everything that's wrong with me in big detail. That's a big, big ouch. I worry that the NDIA won't fund what I need and then my net will be pulled out from under me. It is what it is though.

Yes, another cuppa sounds fab thanks ❤ I'm Pinteresting, looking for the right thing to play with. It's my version of reading the morning paper 😉🙂

You still with us @outlander? 🤗
