Re: Taking the plunge
Hey @Maggie Cat didn't eat much last night and only ate half her breakfast this morning. I gave her some chicken and she only had a little bite and left the rest. I have put her bowl in her room again in the hope she eats more across the morning. Definitely going to need to take her back to the vet.
Yes birdhouses done. Today I need to get the background things done to display them. We set up tomorrow after school for the Expo on Tuesday and Wednesday. I would love to have a big branch to place some of them in but don't think I have the energy today to go for a drive to find one ...will see how I feel this afternoon and if I have enough planning already done for this week then I may be able to head out to look for one.
Enjoy your painting with your neighbour Hon - I know she gives you an increase in energy once you get started. House inspections can be stressful - I remember them well. I always used to spend the day/night before madly cleaning even if the flat was already clean - had nothing but good comments everytime but it stil stressed me. So glad now to have my own place and not have to deal with that stress anymore. Hope it goes really well for you Hon ![]()

Ugh to inspections. I really don't like them. I get very stressed about them and feel like my safe place is being intruded upon. I hope it goes OK for you.
Sometimes I find it good to get out even when it's hard to actually get to. Painting sounds lovely and enthusiasm can be catchy 😊
I'm glad your cave day was good for you. I'm with you with having trouble dropping the guilt and with being a slow learner on the importance of stopping 😏 I learn best by experience, but I don't think that lesson has sunk in properly yet!

Re: Taking the plunge
@Zoe7 I read over there about cat, then saw your post here. So sorry she’s not doing too well, and the vet costs, it all adds to stress. Sending these 💕💜 as I guess you are like me in that you would rather be unwell than baby, they can’t tell us, we have to be their voice.
I can imagine bird houses on display. I have a picture in my mind. I have no doubt it will be a great showing, but still finishing touches, which really do add to the whole experience.
I get stressed about inspections, I don’t let many into my space, so it’s a bit invasive but one of the rules, so I get it. Last time I waited 3 hrs and heard a noise outside so went to see if it was my inspection. The manager casually said, I won’t be doing your it’s ok. But he gave me a notice to be here anyway. 😖😖😖

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I will do some cross stitch after some flat organisations. It blocks my mind and is my favourite craft. I’ve just mentioned the flat inspection struggles to @Zoe7 so won’t repeat myself. Ugh 😖😩😖
I learn best by experience and by doing, I get so stuck on doing. Being is difficult. I struggle so much with my counsellor trying to create a being space. I feel like I’m wasting her time if I’m not doing something. Even when she tries to assure me she expects nothing, I turn that into, me having nothing to offer. It was the first time I heard her groan and cover her face with OMG how did you cone up with that. 🙃🙃

Re: Taking the plunge
I would love to have the image of the display I have in my head come to fruition @Maggie but it really is energy and motivation dependant today. Luckily the rain has cleared so it is possible to get done - just needs time and work to pull together = and quite frankly I don't think I have the energy to do that work today. I will see how I feel after I get back from the chemist - they don't open until 9am so will head off to do that in an hour. The supermarket is close also so will do that first - only need dog food and will get some tinned tuna for Cat to see if she eats that ...she usually loves that and will try anything right now to get her to eat.
Totally hear you about the house inspection Hon. My former agent used to come in while I was at work. I always hated that someone was in my space while I was not there but she looked out for Cat (made sure she closed doors behind her) and left lovely notes when she left. Occasionally she would have an inspection booked in that she would cancel - I was always the one she would leave out if she ran out of time as she was always happy with how well maintained the flat was. I really did not have anything to be worried about but still stressed about it.

Hi @Maggie, have a good time dotting with your friend later. ❤️
@Zoe7, hope your cat perks up a little soon. Well done on getting all of your birdhouses done. Not good on wacking the finger the other day, it's never a good feeling and I bet you didn't do half a job.
Hope you get to put your feet up.for.a few.minutes after such a busy week.
Hi @Former-Member, I am hoping that you are safe and well and your daughter is to. Its a worry to hear how frightened you get when her father visits. Glad it doesn't seem to happen to often.
I really hope you are taking care of yourself as best you can. ❤️❤️💜🐝
Aloha @Faith-and-Hope @outlander @CheerBear @Former-Member @Shaz51 😊🌼

Re: Taking the plunge
Cat has ventured outside this morning and looks okay but she needs to eat. Cats can go downhill really quickly if they do not eat so that is worrying me. Going to call the vet tomorrow and get her in to see her vet @Gazza75 They will allow me to pay off the bill so I am grateful for that. It is an expense I cannot afford right now - and likely to be a big bill if she needs more blood tests. She needs to be sedated to do that otherwise she gets too scared and will bite. Toby is the complete opposite - he loves going to the vet - mainly because he gets so much attention lol
It was great to get all the birdhouses done last week. There are a couple of kids that were away on Friday so they missed out on decorating them and making their little birds. I will give them tie tomorrow if they are there to do that. We will have to carry them as a class to the hall to display otherwise it will take me forever to do on my own up and down the ramp and stairs. It will actually be good to have it all over and returning to a more structured timetable for the last few weeks.

Re: Taking the plunge
@Zoe7, have all my bits crossed for your cat. Hopefully it's not too expensive to have her looked at.
We have a hell of a time catching and transporting our ginger kitty. She has a sixth sense about going on road trips and to the vet. She is getting old and very fussy on what she will eat. She is a funny cat prefers to. Drink right out of the sink or out of the. Bottom of plant pots. She will only drink from her bowl if she sees fresh water going into it. Otherwise she won't have a thing to do with it.
❤️❤️❤️🌼
