I hope the job changes aren’t too drastic @Gazza75

Re: Taking the plunge

I'm not sure @Former-Member , I don't know your story well enough.. sometimes all we can do is tackle one thing at a time. One small step, then another.. Try and break things down into smaller goals and be happy when we tick them off.

Everyone is different and life always tends to throw up challenges.

I often wonder how I ended up where I am to.. hard not to think about it sometimes, i've been working hard not to dwell on it too much, can't change the past.

I always try and take pleasure in the small things and be greatful for what I have. Each day is an opportunity and blessing. It can be just a matter of perspective and how we lookg at things.

You are definitely not useless Mumi, I always enjoy our chats and seeing you around the forum. 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Former-Member
It can be a real shock when someone special to you is diagnosed with a life threatening condition. I hope that talking to other members will help you to cope with your feelings about this. I am not clear from your post if you are wondering about how to access the online chat service at SANE Australia? If so, you can access that from the helpline page on the SANE website. If the SANE chat is offline or engaged then you might consider calling the Help Centre on 1800 18 7263.
Alternatively another service that offers online chat is Lifeline which can be contacted on 13 11 14 or via Crisis Chat
Take care Mumi

Re: Taking the plunge

I'm sorry @Former-Member .

I wouldn't know how to cope either.

Try and stay strong and positive for her.

It must be so diffucult for you both.

Keep reaching out, talking to people who can comfort and support you here.

Try and take care of yourself emotionally and physically. Sleep as best you can.
