I’m not keen on shopping online @Gazza75
I like to see what I’m getting. But thanks for the idea. 👍

Re: Taking the plunge
One day @Faith-and-Hope I have that hope Hon 💕😘
@Gazza75 Teaching can certainly be a great joy as well as stressful but having a bunch of kids like this and such a wonderfully supportive staff has made it so much easier. I enjoy going to work everyday and look forward to seeing their little smiley faces - makes all the other stuff worthwhile too ![]()
@Former-Member You have certainly been through a lot Hon but just the fact you are aware of your drinking and what it is doing to you is a win in itself. It takes courage to confront those things that aren't helping and even more courage to stop - go you ...and we are with you 😍

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes, no nightmares, no panic attacks @Former-Member ... hugs n hugs .... 💜🌷💕
Try lime juice cordial for a while ? Or lemon barley ? Or blackcurrent ? Or raspberry ? Maybe you can ease your body into accepting these drinks instead, or mocktails perhaps ? It’s a way of giving yourself a treat to reach for that is not so damaging . Depending on the zing from mint, lemon and other strong flavours, it might help to shift the habitual behaviour to a new focus. Apparently it takes around 21 days to instil a new habit ..... so you’re doing an exchange. I hope that helps .....(please ignore it if it’s not useful at all).

Re: Taking the plunge
@Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Gazza75 I packed the car earlier this afternoon for tomorrow so I wouldn't be running around doing it all in the morning. Hoping that will allow me to get to work early and get things unpacked and set up before the kids arrive.
Have fed my babies their biscuits so will head off shortly. Hope you get some quality sleep @Former-Member and @Gazza75 and @Faith-and-Hope you enjoy your collage and visual diary work. Goodnight everyone - been great chatting with you all tonight ![]()

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks for your encouragement @Zoe7 @Faith-and-Hope
And for your ideas @Faith-and-Hope
I need to be careful with what I eat, drink. Very sensitive. Can’t have lemon etc. bit concerned about trying anything besides water. A coffee a day and a tea a day.
You can imagine how my tummy is with alcohol. Ugh 😑 gotta stop.
Just tried googling for fridges. Time to stop. Need to go in and look.
Take care. 😘🥰🤗
