Re: Taking the plunge

I hope the same for you @Former-Member . Yes we’ve known each other a long time. So sorry today is emotional. I imagine maybe your mum or D or both. 💕💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Both @Maggie

Eyes are blurry now. Bit tricky to type.

Mum tried to pack her things today again, hoping to come home with me.

😭

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member Thanks, I have a social worker irl. Worth her weight in gold.

This will be my fourth move in three years, I need my forever home.

Good you have found somewhere to call home. Settling is another thing though. Take care, I know last week was a struggle, hope this week is improving, even slightly. 💕

Re: Taking the plunge

That’s hard @Former-Member . You must be exhausted, or is that an understatement?💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Super draining @Maggie

It’s enough with D.

Disfunctional family members etc. ugh!

I like to hide at home, but have been made to get out of my comfort zone.

Overwhelming is an understatement.

Siblings whom I have avoided, I’ve been confronted by them. Some are so deliberately nasty. The comments they make to me are unbelievable. Zero understanding or compassion. They know my traumatic life and have never shown compassion. Just what can I do for them. Once I decided to stand up for myself, oh my gosh! Soooooo nasty. Oh well.

Happy to be here for you if you ever need me. 💖🌷🥰🌸🌷

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member One BIG thing I’ve noticed about finding your voice is people don’t celebrate your find. My voice comes and goes, but there was a time it didn’t come at all, so I’m happy when it comes. I thought others would be happy too, but somehow people prefer doormats, maybe they are more USEABLE.

I know how hard it Is to be confronted with zero compassion. What makes it harder is having a compassionate heart, it keeps hurting and hurting.

So many of us care for you here @Former-Member When you can, talk to us, I know it’s not always possible, but sometimes that support button speaks volumes when we can’t. 💜💕💞

Re: Taking the plunge

I understand about the compassionate heart hurting @Maggie

Yes, strange how people in real life don’t seem to listen or care. On here most understand.

Anyway. I’d better try going back to sleep. Eyes blurry from sleep meds and they’re not working so well

Ugh.

Take care. Hope I’m making sense. Still sleepy.

Morning cuppa for you. ☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member You made perfect sense. Heading for my second coffee. Here’s one for you as you try to get some sleep, or just relax.☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

Finally managed to get a bit more sleep @Maggie

Very slow this morning.

I bought a proper coffee expresso maker this week. The one you cook on the stove.

I need to add more coffee to it. I like it super strong, or less water next time.

Very windy out.

Might have to head out later. Big change lately, after hiding at home for ages.

I noticed that Justin and Willow from Home and Away got married in real life. How sweet. I’m guessing you still watch the show.

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I hadn’t caught up on that bit of news, re Justin and Willow. I knew they were engaged. Yes, still a fan. I missed it last night due to a bad headache. Gone today, which is good.

Coffee machine sounds good. I do like a good coffee, especially first thing in the morning.

Gosh yesterday here was freezing cold. We reached a maximum of 9, windy and rain. Sun is out today, so a big improvement. Looks cold over the weekend.

Did I read you were getting your hair done? I hope I have that right. If so, it might be a glimmer of light, even a little feel better, temporarily anyway.

I might head out for a walk with pooch, she like a walk in the park. Hope today is okish for you.💜💕
