@Zoe7 @Sorry to hear Toby had an ear infection, Mags ha one a few years back. And cat, they are wonderful creatures aren't they. My girl is by my side, warm as toast. As always, my lifeline.

You remain a treasure as always. So good to hear from you.

@Faith-and-Hope Lots of these for you. 💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Toby has just wandered in from outside and is back snuggled by me too @Maggie Cat is talking for her night biscuits - she doesn't get daylight savings time is over and thinks it is nearly 8pm lol No doubt she will go outside again for a little while so I need to keep the door open for a bit longer tonight. Our fur babies are certainly our little security blankets 😺🐶❤

It is so good to hear from you Hon - I see you as a treasure too and so much enjoy your company when you can pop in. We really do care about you here Hon and no matter how tough it is for you we are here to support you also

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member @I was sad to read of your brother and SIL loss. So hard for you all. You continue to plod on through all your battles. You are amazing.

Humm, the vegetarian diet. I ate vegs with no protein for 6 mths. When I asked to cook myself, I was told I couldn't. I thought about it and thought, oh yes I can, so I did, but they refused to stop charging me for meals I wasn't eating. You can still see my heel marks!!!!

Tried communicating, my counsellor also tried, so I stopped the food money. Acton!!!! I still have to eat what's provided, but now get protein and fruit. I no longer go to the dining room. They are afraid others will choose to cook their own, and cook will be out of a job.

Anyway, it's temporary. The manager knows I'm leaving ASAP regardless of the lease issues. It's ended up being a nightmare. Sorry for the rave.

On a lighter note. I'm teaching an 86 yr old how to paint mandala stones!!!!!! She has a new lease on life.

Mags is well. How is Holly?????

Thanks @Zoe7 the internal conversation become overpowering at times like these. So hard to believe anyone could possible care. But there you all are, proving them wrong.....again. Thankyou....sincerely. 💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

It is so hard when that internal dialogue takes over our thinking @Maggie - sometimes no matter how much evidence there is to show people care we still feel alone - but we are here for you Hon and we really do care. You are not just an avatar on the screen or a post to read - you are a real, wonderful and feeling person who we connect with because we care truly about you the person. You are more than cared about Maggie - you are loved and that is because of the wonderful person you are and the absolute sincerity in everyone of your posts.

Re: Taking the plunge

I find it hard putting words around my feelings. Just identifying the feelings gets difficult enough.

I write songs/poetry or just write as it flows.

If it's too dark, please let me know and I'll remover it.

I'm beyond being broken

Beyond words ever spoken

Beyond pain

Beyond shame

Beyond blame

I'm beyond needing someone

Beyond a journey so long

Beyond need

Beyond greed

I am empty

I'm beyond fearing judgement

Beyond needing contentment

Beyond trying

Beyond dying

I am empty

I'm beyond reaching out

Beyond needing to shout

Beyond tired

I am empty

I am empty.
