Re: Taking the plunge

Oh @Former-Member I feel for you regarding family, and it does knock us around. I got lucky, when I moved last I changed phone number and address and they have no idea where I am. My parents have passed on, I couldn't got to funerals. I know living alone has its drawbacks, but there are a few advantages. You get to do what you want, when you want.

Today im going reasonably ok. I have to make the most of it as it never lasts.

You also have the heat to battle, that's part of my goodish day, it's cool and I can potter outside.

Take care @Former-Member you deserve better.💕💛

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member You got the cornflowers right. I've been pressing some every morning, they press beautifully. I understand what you mean regarding your previous garden. The days that I can do nothing else, I always water, I couldn't see them die. My garden is growing on me. Lol. Lame crack at a joke there!!!!!!

I'm pleased D is back working ( light duties ) she was getting a little boared. Does that mean she won't be joining you at bingo??? They love her at her work, she must be a very good employee. I can see a proud mum there!!!!

Sleep is such an issue. It really does affect so much especially MI. I think I have sleep deprivation and nothing can be done, just grin and bear it....no grinning from me!!!

I've just watched " Call the midwife" such hard times, and not that long ago. Different kind of hard now.

Going to do some X stitch now and get this finished.

Have you done the vacuuming??????? Time for a rest @Former-Member.

@Maggie Love, love, love the pic of the frogs in the rain!!!! I wish it was pouring here ... no such luck the cicardas are making a racket which is great (Ilove cicadas too) but in such need of rain it isnt funny.

Hoping everyone is having a nice day today.

Re: Taking the plunge

Hello @Bunniekins wishing for rain here too. It's forecast, but so far is just very hot and muggy. Maybe we should do a rain dance.

Re: Taking the plunge

This is about all I have in my garden at present. I do love the colour of them though. I took this picture yesterday morning, while everything was cool and fresh after the lovely rain and cooler weather we'd been getting. I thought I might even try to paint one of these. What do you reckon @Maggie @Bunniekins @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @utopia @Former-Member ?
