Re: Taking the plunge
So many of us are struggling with depression at the moment. Is it the heat? The lists of what needs to be done? The total exhaustion?
I don't know.

Re: Taking the plunge
I think the extreme heat has a lot to do with it @utopia - it drains energy and causes lack of sleep, which in turn can trigger low mood or make an already low one worse. Being exhausted makes it harder to do what we have to and cope. Also the added pressure and lonliness for some at this time of the year. Hope you are doing okay ☺️x

Re: Taking the plunge
And the heat makes it worse.
I have Scandinavian blood too. Think I'm meant to be somewhere cold. Not so easy fixing house to sell etc.........
Oh I'm a whinger today, sorry.

Re: Taking the plunge
Try and stay in cooler environments @utopia (indoors spraying yourself with cool water in front of a fan or cooler;, air conditioning in shopping centres etc to reduce body temperature ) and drink plenty of water to keep from becoming dehydrated. Sleep is the more difficult part - if you can nap in the afternoon this will help lift your mood together with the above. @Former-Member - I couldn't fix a house up or anything for that matter in this heatwave if my life depended on it. I can understand what a struggle this must be for you. I hope you can get that air cond fix asap. Stay cool everyone 😎
