Oh the parrots have come through @Former-Member they are beautiful. I hope to attract some into my garden, but I might be dreaming this time.

Yes @Bunniekins the budgies are lovely little creatures. Babies are so sweet too, just little bald squirming masses when they first hatch. But they grow so quickly.
@Maggie, the snakes I described were mostly on the farm. We had a lot of red belly black snakes there because we had a creek running through our property. But also plenty of brown snakes which are pretty deadly when it comes to pets unfortunately. Where we are now, we dont get so many, although I have seen a red belly black snake in our bird aviary. And I freak out worrying about Holly tangling with them. I certainly dont want her to end up the same as poor little Abbie.
As for the lunch tomorrow, I think you know me too well @Maggie. Yes I would much prefer to be watching the cricket! However both Hubby and Holly enjoy the socialising. So its something I put up with.

Re: Taking the plunge
I hope you are okay @Former-Member- are you feeling depressed or physically ill? Will be here for you when you are up to talking again. Thinking of you 🤗
@utopia - I am glad to read you are safe. I did hear something about heavy floods in either the Melbourne or Victoria region - sounded quite drastic. Are you cut off from shops and services? We had a downpour of rain for a few hours today which we really needed, but nothing like you are getting. We have been dry up here for awhile. I hope those in your area reached safe ground and no one was hurt. I will definitely put a picture up once I have finished my newest project "Unmasked". Glad you liked it as it's one of my favourites 😊
So good to hear from you @Appleblossom 😄 I am really looking forward to doing this latest cross stitch Kit I purchased - it speaks to me. A bit of a change too from the usual Victorian designs that I have been doing.
I had a giggle picturing your cats turning their noses up - they are fuss pots like mine is. Once they have a taste of a special treat it becomes like potato chips to them and they can't get enough haha.
Its really admirable how you will be singing for the homeless tomorrow - what a special memory that will create. I don't think anything will stop that. I look forward to hearing about it. Did you have a follow up date with the coffee man? ☺️
@Bunniekins - no, that's one cute cocky I haven't to seen around here (Corellas). We do get black cockatoos occasionally - every time I see them I know rain is coming. This has never failed!
@outlander - ouch - burns are nasty. How did it happen? Hope that heals quickly for you and you don't have to use that hand for awhile xx

Humm @Former-Member though I don't like cricket, some of my internal lads do, doesn't matter if you don't get that, I'm with you, I'd be leaving Holly and hubby if possible. The food might be a plus.

Re: Taking the plunge
Oh yes @Former-Member @Bunniekins we also get black cockatoos here. So loud, and Holly detests them. She charges off down the paddock barking up the tree as they settle there. They are very destructive the black cockies. And I agree, their appearance does often seem to coincide with rain events.
@Maggie - LoL re leaving the lunch tomorrow, and I'm glad 'the lads' appreciate the cricket.
