@Former-Member no homework. My town is flooded. So constantly on community Facebook page to check the water levels. Our town creek is so fast flowing and has covered the entire park and pathways. Some homes and cars flooded. We are high so the flood won't come into my house. Just the yard.
Some people have evacuated to our community evacuation center. Generally they live near the creek or low lying areas. That creek is a wide flowing river. Some roads look like rivers.
I'm A Ok. Just busy watching it all.

@utopia Good to hear you are safe. It must be hard on people to have to evacuate. I had to do it once in a place I lived a few years back. Not nice. Watching the water flow would be interesting, better than tv.

@Former-Member What a great cross stitch, very effective. Is it one you are about to start? I have two dogs lounging on my bed pushing to get as close to me as possible. Watching a movie..music and lyrics Drew Barrymore and grant somebody starting, quite good really.

@Former-MemberIts a gorgeous cross stitch. It helps me to keep looking forward and be creative. A bonus for us to see.
My cats were extra spoiled for dinner last night and now are turning up their noses at a food that is usually their favourite.
Its wet and cool here, @utopia just light flooding. Glad you are safe.
I wonder if the rain will stop the train tomorrow?
