@NatureLover @Appleblossom @Bunniekins @CheerBear @TAB @TheVorticon and anyone interested.
My mandala canvas has been accepted for the mental health art exhibition. I’m holding my breath with both relief and excitement. OMG. I’ve been waiting for the rejection. 🥴

@NatureLover
Thanks, My memories of my Kiwi singing friend are good. Sad but she had a good life, and many health issues and in a High Care Home. SHe went gently in sleep, her daughter could speak with her, tho covered in head to toe with all the gear. I am just glad she was alive and we met. SHe was feisty and old school in many ways, raised by single mum, 2 years teachers college in the 50s, when it was only 2 years here too. But music and swimming were her things and they have also been my things. I was her best friend in a way, as the other choristers were more about snobbery than music or compassion. Give them an inch and they took a mile, be it best cook, best address, best dress. So immature but bad religion seems to bring out the competitive guilt tripper. Nothing to do with the spirit.
I am back from my walk, gently, gently, but been thinking for a while now that my breathlessness is medication related. Combined with blood pressure rises equals, not good. I am going to talk about it with "professionals". Maybe I should get a pool membership as I try and push my meds down. I can swim and remember her and my dad. Could only keep it up for a few months. Summer maybe, Covid allowing.
