the longest wait while being petrified

the longest wait while being petrified

So on wednesday I went to see my gp about a skin spot I was finding to be quite suspicious and the news turned out to be not what I expected.
They want the spot surgically removed urgently as in tuesday unless others cancel and i can get in earlier. They want the whole thing and as it looks like its spreading already they want more than just the top taken off then if it comes back malignanat more tests to see how far its spread then removed those areas


the worrying part is i dont know how long its been there for and because ive noticed it change twice its a very bad sign. Unintentionally coming off her was fear. Fear from others makes me worse and she was sending off alot of that. She pointed out 2 other points that she noticed that are really not good and are often seen in skin cancers.

Im so scared and it seems like tuesday is taking forever to get here. Its really not easy to sit with and accept. Im bloody pertrified!

Today is a good day 🙂 You suffer so many health problems, and have been through so many tests and worked so hard on bettering your health - and today one of the problems will be removed

I think it's good that you have so much to do, it will keep your mind busy, helping the wait pass by.

It will eventually make the pain go away, not straight away as it will need to heal; but this procedure is necessary for it to be able to heal, I don't think that particular pain can go away without it.

You are young, you have a lifetime ahead of you; bettering your health in whatever way you can, is the best thing you can do 🙂 Your brave, I know you'll make it though this

I'm proud of you You live with a Tornado screeching around you, and yet like a Samurai Warrior, or a time-travelling strong-willed, beautiful young lady, you stand in the middle and do the right and best thing to do

Hey @Former-Member my anxiety despite a prn got the better of me. Had a panic attack first then the whole time i shook and had bad nausea then sat up and threw up everywhere. Took me a long while to regroup myself.
Im so embarrassed

Ive got 8 sutures in and the anaesthetic has worn off now.
My right side has to rest alot now which is hard as im right handed so will have to be very conscious about what im doing to not use the right habd so much and i sleep on my right side so a few rough nights ahead.

On friday i go back to the nurses to get dressings changed and a checkup. If ny results are in then ill get them then. If not next friday ill get them as thats when im booked in again to get sutures taken back out
