the longest wait while being petrified

So on wednesday I went to see my gp about a skin spot I was finding to be quite suspicious and the news turned out to be not what I expected.
They want the spot surgically removed urgently as in tuesday unless others cancel and i can get in earlier. They want the whole thing and as it looks like its spreading already they want more than just the top taken off then if it comes back malignanat more tests to see how far its spread then removed those areas

the worrying part is i dont know how long its been there for and because ive noticed it change twice its a very bad sign. Unintentionally coming off her was fear. Fear from others makes me worse and she was sending off alot of that. She pointed out 2 other points that she noticed that are really not good and are often seen in skin cancers.

Im so scared and it seems like tuesday is taking forever to get here. Its really not easy to sit with and accept. Im bloody pertrified!

I shouldnt have bloody worked today but no i went ahead a tried it anyway. Wrong. Stupid idiot i am. So now ive got to pay the consequences of a pulled back muscle and twinging stitches.

And tomorrow well that is coming too damn fast and i panicing so much i dont even know what to do with myself. Tried tablets cant have any more for another 6 hrs yet so will be able to take them before surgury
Until then ive got no idea!

@outlanderYOU ARE NOT A STUPID IDIOT (yes that is me yelling!!!)

You went to work and tried to see what you can and cannot do, there is nothing wrong with that. I know you said you have taken tablets but if that is your normal meds, can you take some sort of inflammatory tablet?

Yes tomorrow is coming fast but you will cope with it. Do I need to go to my thread and copy and paste some of what you said to me? We are really our own worst critic. We can give advice out, yet it is so hard to receive it (yes I am including myself in that!)

What do you want to do> We can always turn this into a distracting night and have a few laughs like last night. Or we can work on some relaxation/mindfulness things.

Im already on anti inflam meds for neck and foot so cant cant take anymore. I have to just put up with it now.
I dont know what i need or want to do. I really dont know

Haha yes @outlander that is the teacher coming out in me.

Have you got a heat pack you can use at all. What about an anti inflammatory cream if you have got one?

Might help soothe some of the pain.

I understand when you say you don't know what you want or what you need. Its not a comfortable place to be. How about we just keep talking. We can pick a topic, I can tell you more about me, you can tell me more about you (in the guidelines of this forum of course)
