Expectations

Expectations

Lately my whole world has become a rough patch. Revolving around triggering behaviours, sleeping, isolation and shutting down.

When did the expectations suddenly fall entirely on me and only me?

Mental health teams stated they won't contact, as if I need help I seek it. It's left me lost for words. I'm not going to seek help when all I want to do is destruct.

Re: Expectations

Hi dear @Mimm,

Ya that's true we should have a personal maid and chef and cleaner, as it is so hard when hallucinating to get chores or anything done.

But again it's a money issue, and most of us can't afford a maid lol.

I just do chores in stages, and write lists of jobs to do and appointments.

Procrastination becomes a big thing to us and because we are so sedated, a-motivation occurs on the drugs too. Something others take for granted. Isolation is another issue for us. And that is very sad and unfair.

Re: Expectations

Hello @Mimm

Thank you for started this thread, it sounds incredibly difficult feeling like you have to manage all of these things on your own and trying to reach out to your mental health team but finding that difficult too, not easy when you feel like self destructing.

There are some other members who have also found it difficult to seek help when they are not feeling good, you might like to read about @ColourCat started a thread about feeling 'anxious but wanting help'

There is another thread by @Snowdrop which talks about where and how to get help called 'Where do you get help?'

It is great that you are reaching out for help here @Mimm that alone is extremely tough and brave of you.

Lunar 🙂

Re: Expectations

@Mimm. So hard when you need help but can't reach out. Why can't the mental health support team keep in contact with you? Not fair. Not right.
Thinking of you. ♥♥
