The Community Garden :)

The Community Garden :)

Being outside and enjoying the beautiful plants and flowers that are about is definitely something that's keeping me going at the moment, so I thought it might be nice to grow our own garden here where we can all enjoy it.

Please add any pictures, links, chats about anything you're enjoying in your garden, have found on a walk, wish you had in your garden etc. Or just enjoy wandering around 🙂

Re: The Community Garden :)

@Former-Member Okay true story .... years ago myself and my exhubby (who was my bf then) went to Uluru. We drove there which was a wonderful adventure!!!!! We went through this tiny town anyway ... as we were seated in this park in the middle of this one street town a group of young men started saying really loudly 'How much for your missus?' 'How much? How much for your missus?'! I nearly died I said quickly to my ex I think we should go and you know what he said .... he's like no... why... its nice here.

I'm like 'I really want to go ... NOW!' so finally he got up and we left and I said to him didn't you hear what they were saying and when I told him you know what he said?? he said 'It was their way of complimenting you'.!

When I told @Ant7 he told me he would have had a totally different reaction. He is such a gentleman is Ant7 Mrs Ant7 is a very lucky lady.

@Bunniekinsi loe your stories!!! Maybe there is a reason he is your ex now!! I hope my hubby would have a different response to that. However since I am now older, I don't think I would get that reaction anymore.

@Former-Member You know NellBell we are very close now after a rather rocky divorce. He is a good man we just got bashed about because of circumstances outof our control.

My wish is it never happens to you. That your lovely family stays safe and you become well again.xx

Re: The Community Garden :)

@Bunniekinswell I am glad you are close now, it is always good to have that healthy relationship even when divorced.

Thank you for the lovely words and your wish. We seem to be communicating a lot more lately about what I am going through which I think is helping. Even though hubby still doesn't know all the details, it is easier now that he knows the reason for why I am this affected.

Re: The Community Garden :)

@Former-Member it must be very hard for him. Men I think, not all but most, tend to hide their feelings .... I would say he is feeling alot of anger as to what happened to you...

Re: The Community Garden :)

@Bunniekins, I know it is because he has never been one to show a lot of emotions, but then neither have I.

He has got a lot of anger towards the CSA, but does not know yet who it was or what actually happened. I am not ready to tell him that yet (might never be). He did point out that this person should pay for it, but that woud mean making a police report and having to tell them everything that happened, and at this stage I think it would do me more harm than good.

Re: The Community Garden :)

@Former-Member Yes I am trying to think how I would feel in a similar situation and I think it would be important to me to have control over the situation. To have the police and all the investigations etc. plus family involved ... it is a huge step and one that taken cannot be taken back ..

It is a hard one Nell23 but I agree with you it has to be on your terms.

Re: The Community Garden :)

@Bunniekinsyep and for those reasons, I don't think it will ever happen which sucks in a way (because he gets away with it).

So what are you up to tonight?
