heya @Zoe7 .... its been ok ive slept most of it. i just woke up.... nothing else to do really..... how depressing in of itself ！！how about you what have you been up too

I honestly think if we weren't already depressed (those of us that are) then dealing with MI woiuld make us depressed anyway - and yes sleeping all day is depressing lol - but if you need it you need it! The alternative is to get square eyes sitting on the compouter all day (that wouldn't be me at all lol)
oh dear @Sammy16 my last 24 hours have been a rollercoaster. I will give you the shortened version lol
My heat pump sprung a gas leak - then a gas gush!! Thought it was going to explode - now bits of it that I pulled off and threw around the house are - well - still around the house. After 10 minutes of thinking it was going to explode the gas finally ran out and it stopped. I am sure I was in shock for a while and definitely scared. Then triggered by something on tv and spent most of the night (freezing with no heat) curled up in the corner wrapped in doona, blankets and my puppy dog as a hot water bottle.
I am still waiting for 'heat pump man' to come - but sure I will need a new one (this one is no longer on life-support - it has flat lined lol)
Today I have pretty much been on the forum all day - and it has helped - kept me distracted while waiting and even given me a giggle or two.
I bet you wish you hadn't asked now

Just had the biggest melt dowm. I just couldn't stop crying. I was i historical. Poor kids seen me. Then i made them cry. I feel so bad.

Sorry you are finding it hard at the moment @Bubbles3 t must be a big shock to the system being out of hospital and having your birthday tomorrow. Crying isn't a bad thing but the kids seeing your hysterical and then crying themselves would make you feel even worse - that is horrible for you Bubbles 
What can you do now with them that is positive - something you all enjoy that can take their minds of what has just happened? Every negative experience for kids needs multiple positive experiences (generally it is said it should be 6 to 1 but I think that is unrealistic - I would try half that ie. 3 positive experiences to the one negative). Even something simple as reading a story together or helping them make a birthday card for you - something they can see at the end that they have achieved - and you have done it with them.

I think those are great ideas @Zoe7 ......
Do your kids like acting Bubbles3 ..... ? I don't know how old they are, but can they do a song and dance routine for you ? Or act out some news of the day ? The movements involved in doing that can help burn off some of their anxiety and hopefully help them settle ..... and if they are really funny you might manage a big laugh together.

@Bubbles3 @Faith-and-Hope The highlight of my days at work were when the kids would act out the story from the picture book we had just read. We would choose one picture book each week and each day they would learn a little more to act out. By the end of the week they would be acting out the whole story as someone read it aloud. The kids absolutely loved it - would get dressed up, worked together, helped each other - it was magic
