Ceelllllll-e-brate good times! A place to celebrate ourselves and eachother :)

This week the Forums celebrated it's 1 year anniversay!

Together as a community we have reached -

- Over 1500 members

- Started 1301 discussions (well 1302 after this post )

- Responded 18,762 times

Above and beyond the numbers, together we have created a place where people feel supported, encouraged and comfortable to share their tough times and achievements.

What a huge achievement!

To mark the occasion, we thought we would start this discussion as a place where you can celebrate other members on their achievements - big or small!

We've had members achieve a variety of things - getting a new jobs, finishing courses and taking steps forward in their mental health. As a group we have supported each other, shown kindness and stood up against adversity.

So here is our new space - a space to celebrate other members for their achievements and give them a big high five!

Awwwwww superly duperly big thank you @NikNik and @Shaz51 @CheerBear @Owlunar @Maggie @soul. I feel all warm and fuzzy. Thank you @NikNik for creating Forum Land and for making it a space where it feels so ok to be me. I feel more ok being me here, than I do anywhere else in the whole world. It made me giggle that your reason for celebrating me is that I teach other Forumites new things. Yay for being a geeky nerdy task-orientated turtle.

Ooooh this is my cue to share a really cool fact I learnt a little while ago. Did you know that Venus rotates in the opposite direction to Earth on its axis? So not only is a day on Venus amazingly long (5832 Earth hours), but the day kind-of goes backwards too! I've been super busting to find the right moment to share this cool fact.

Super giant thank you for caring about me everybody and for riding the waves of the tumultous and stormy ocean with me. It isn't looking like my muddle is going to be getting unmuddled any time soon, so thank you for sitting with me in it.

Awwwww I got hit in the head with a love heart! Hey @Zoe7, I think this will make you giggle. @Former-Member had the audacity to call me a "sweet" sea turtle yesterday. I may possibly have responded with "Eeeeeeeew" and told her she was being soppy.

@Phoenix_Rising that didn't just make me giggle - I am LOL. The audacity of the newbie @Former-Member- what was she thinking - did you not put the terms and conditions of 'speaking' to little turtle in the introductory manual for the mods? What an oversight if that is missing - that is Turtle Speak 101... That is second to touching, and the occasional love heart hitting you on the head (only I would even dare try that lol)

@Zoe7 Giggle. I know, right, in what parallel universe is it acceptable to call me sweet!!!! I'm not sure how to articulate how to speak turtle. Maybe you could write that entry for the moderators manual? I'm really not sure what it means to speak turtle...I just know that you, @CheerBear, (K) and my turtle whisperer can do it. It's like...I can't articulate it, but I definitely know it when I see it...and it feels so superly duperly nice when I find people who can do it!

awww little turtle - that is pretty special to hear - I can speak turtle

I will give it a go @Phoenix_Rising - have the feeling I will laugh too much to actually complete said 'How to speak to Little Turtle' instructions: the do's and the don'ts" - I already have a title for this section! lol This may be easier than I think

BTW @Phoenix_Rising I often see what someone writes to you and physically cringe at the thought of you reading and/or seeing words or images that I know you will not like. I have been know to scream 'nooooo' at the screen in regards to these 'mistakes' - and can somehow see you on the other side of the screen, reading the same thing, and screaming at the screen too lol
