@NikNikOh my, I just logged in after I've arrived at my foster sisters (and had a yummy dinner) and saw 23 notifications!! Thanks so super duper very much for this shout out; I am so totally floored I cried! Of course I don't think I do that much here, and I feel very often that others do much more and far better than me, but for once I am going to feel really good about this. I am incredibly honoured. I offer my support to others mostly for 2 reasons- 1) Because I have been in similar circumstances and I have an understanding of how it feels to a mental illness, and all that goes with it, & 2) It actually makes me feel better in myself that I am not alone with my experiences, and other forum members reflect that back to me. It's hard, really hard some days to know what to say, or how to help. I wonder if I have the right words, or if I am sincere and comforting enough, or God forbid, that I may have made things worse. And I have received soooo much support, love, encouragement, and yes, even lots of giggles and laughs from other furum members. So thank you so very again, I am extremely grateful and appreciative, but it's the forum members that make me want to reach out to them. I want to post an image, but unfortunately my laptop is playing up 😞

I hope you all realise what beautiful, caring and kind souls you ALL are. I am totally gob smacked by this shout out; I really can't believe it and it's totally made a good day the very best in a long, long time. Thanks so much for all your wishes, and posts, and @Phoenix_Rising I have just had a yummy meal, so that cake looks totally super delectable for dessert. How did you know it's my favourite too? I found this forum at a time of great personal distress, which saved my life that night from the support of others. And many times since then, giving back has kept me going, gave me strength and made myself more understood as I have sought to understand others and their experiences. I don't feel I do that much, it's difficult sometimes to help others and know what to offer or say. I guess I treat others as I would like to be treated, cared for and supported. I even managed to be able to find reasons to laugh at the interesting threads we get up and the funny stories shared. Thanks so much again. I am going to bottle this lovely feeling for future needs.
