Yeah I only talked to them once, now I prefer to say tired - because that is what it is, tired of life. They don't know that and i know their answers if I told them the truth so no need to trouble them more.

Cheers @utopia and @Former-Member....for making it clearer for me was not sure what to say and did not want to trigger others. I am taken to hospital usually by police. I am usually sedated and wake a day later, its scary. My family get mad with me. My daughter says 'I'll never go to someone's funeral who committed suicide". aahh I won't know I'll be dead if I choose that path.

No I dont choose. I go when I am in crisis. When I'm manic and loosing it I cant think and can't ground to work out what I should do. @utopia

@Neelix - that sounds really hard. Have you or your treating team been able to pick up earlier signs - before you 'can't think'? Then they may be able to 'up' your meds for a short time - maybe preventing full blown mania? Sorry, I don't have experience of mania and how it works. But I try, when I'm well, to be ever optimistic of better MI outcomes

No they dont work on 'earlier signs' with me. They have been teaching me 'grounding' strategies, getting more sleep and ways to increase my appetitie.. Yes they have increased my meds. I do need to know earlier signs but that is what they are doing at the moment. Thanks @utopia I will write that down and say that at my next session. I seem to write a lot of things down recently my memory falters a bit sometimes.

@Neelix - my memory isn't good and gets worse as my depression sucks me into its vortex. The nbr if times I've said the opposite word to the one I needed. Sometimes I can laugh about it. Sometimes not.
Writing rhings down for your treating team is always good. You may have realised something important, only to forget it completely until you get back home from seeing your team. I know I do.

I've just thought that ...umm...well...nope lol soz I do that. I am fearful to say what I think perhaps it is not a 'fading memory' as I have said in another thread. I will say this tho you all here inspire me

Yes it is an important day. Two years ago I tried to raise it in a choir I without success. It backfired for me but maybe that is only temporary. They were not ready for it even though I researched and saw some classical music events were including support for RUOK on their advertising. However they were part of my big music event last weekend so as I confirm my competence maybe they will take on these ideas more in a few years ... here hoping.
Even skeletons need to gather round a hearth.
