@Determined, you've made your respect for the in-laws generally obvious in your posts. 🙂 It's good when the extended family are easy to live with. Very literally in your case.

I was too distressed at the airpirt yesterday, at being late, feeling out f control, locked out segregated and embarrassed... ... (that they refused to let me through to the plane 20min before takeoff), and that the 'Folder Lady' felt the need to ask me to "calm down" 😕 Yep, I was triggered, about to implode (which frightens me) so I rolled my eyes back, turned on my heels, grabbed my bag, hightailed out of there. Sobbed all the way to the car and most the rest of the day at home.
Not getting any work done and couldn't sleep.

😞 Take care @Former-Member. Not getting work done for a bit is OK if you need the recovery time.

Re: SPRING-Clean Declutter - Need Help

This morning was the 2hr grueling teleconference with Guardianship Tribunal for dad. I got adrenalin shakes toward the end, it was that distressing / confronting. Lucky for my my astute grief counsellor arranged to ring me immediately after the hearing andvi was so relieved to have someone caring to talk to. She actually cared about me. Even reminded me to go for a walk to shake off some of the stress from the hearing. It was a great debrief. And she said she'll ring me next week and she's not panicked when I mention SI...
So... didn't get much done again today. But...

Had a short burstburst of energy 9pm & packed x4 more boxes for charity, and one garbage bag of rubbish. Lots of dust 😞

Barely keeping eyes open now, so tired... Achieved a lot.

Hope you got some good sleep last night @Former-Member. In fact, given you posted that midnight-ish, I hope you're still asleep now!

Well done with pushing through a bit more, and I hope the tribunal results are good.

I hear you missed your plane @Former-Member

Missing my plane is something I dread will happen - I give myself a lot of time but still get flustered - but

I have to get to the airport today and I have that knot in my stomach - I find it hard to get organised to travel - even when I am going home

At Melbourne Airport - Tullamarine - on Tuesday - I went through security and then to the gate designated - but they had changed the terminal and I had to go through security again but luckily the person I spoke to rang the gate where I was supposed to be and they held the gate open for me - I could not run with my back pack and laptop - shaking and sweating - going through security again - then rushing to the right gate where they were waiting for me - last person on with the door shut behind me

Wow

I can't imagine how it felt to actually miss your plane - it must have been horrible - I really feel for you

I think I had better finish up here and leave with plenty of time - there are lots of shops at the airport here - and it is a huge sprawling place - I would rather be early than late -

I think I am obsessive about being early - so much easier

Dec

Sending more hugs - lots more hugs
