Re: Lonley
I have kids too and have spent a big chunk of my life being a stay at home parent. I was studying for a while, though I did quite a few years without study earlier. I found it lonely sometimes too, I still do. I also found myself a bit lost often (still do that too). I think there can be such a big shift in our identity that can come from becoming a mum. I have a feeling it's a pretty common thing to experience.
It's really good to see you here, reaching out for support. I'd like to hear a bit more about if you'd like to share 🙂
Hope you find the forum helpful. I certainly have. I don't feel so alone here.

Hello @Alicia456
It is pretty normal to feel lonely if you dont have any one to talk about your life with. CHildren have a lot of love to give, but adult company and insight is needed too, when making adult decisionns

Even now, my husband sometimes has to go away for work a few days at time and it can be lonely.

Hi @Alicia456
Being alone a lot without adult company is hard. Are there mother & children group get togethers in your area or through the children's school or volunteering in the school canteen etc that you go along to and ease the loneliness a little? There may be other mums in the same boat. We are here for you if you would like to talk 🤗

Re: Lonley
That sounds very isolating and I can understand how being separated from your supports and connections could contribute to feeling lonely and lost. I've found online connections and relationships to help enormously during these times, though having someone there in person to chat to is still missed a lot.
Do you have any interests or things that you enjoy doing for yourself during the day when your partner is working?
