Really wobbly

Really wobbly

Any advice and suggestions about how to stay grounded and do self care much appreciated. I have some big stressors in my life right now. That combined with Bipolar 1 and Anxiety is really knocking me around. Trying to sell home as result of marriage breakdown, pay debts, find new home. My daughter (who is my main support) is leaving home (can't blame her). I have a young son to look after and I'm trying to protect him from the strain of the situation. All this is coming off the back of a mixed episode, which has recently been replaced by plumetting mood and skyrocketing anxiety. I am teary and on the verge of panic and need to talk myself down - there's noone else to do it. The future is scaring me.

Re: Really wobbly

Inception is one of my favourite movies @frog. I have the Hans Zimmerman soundtrack. My daughter has a book about the making of the film. You will love it.

Re: Really wobbly

@soul@Shaz51 Inception was amazing but it sort of messed with my head. All the blurring between reality and dream state reminded me of psychosis. I had to keep reminding myself that I'm not in that space. This morning I am a bit more grounded. I am glad I could watch it with my son as he has been asking for a long time and it's one of his two favourites. The other one is V for Vendetta but I'm not rushing into that one just yet. Have a good Saturday. I hope you both get some you-time. I am finding that challenging!

Glad you enjoyed the movie @frog. Isn't it a beautiful love story? Blew me away.

Re: Really wobbly

@Shaz51 my day has been ok thanks. I have been busy. A bit scattered and overwhelmed with my decluttering, but did make some progress. How about you - how was your Saturday?

Re: Really wobbly

Hi @frog 🙂
inceptions sounds interesting, i havent seen it! I'm a bit of a sci fi fan generally.
Decluttering is something I need to do too, but when i try i seem to make a bigger mess of everything...

Re: Really wobbly

Hi @Former-Member I can relate on things getting worse before they get better on the decluttering front. If I could I'd just go slowly but it has come in an avalanch due to housing issues. On a happier note, are you a Star Wars fan? I'm looking forward to the next one in Dec.

Re: Really wobbly

Hi @Former-Member @soul @outlander @Shaz51 @Queenie@utopiahope you're steady this morning. I have been waking up wobbly. I feel panicked today. I am yet to find a solution for panic. Usually it lifts sometime in the afternoon, though today that thought makes me want to cry or hide or both
