Really wobbly

Really wobbly

Any advice and suggestions about how to stay grounded and do self care much appreciated. I have some big stressors in my life right now. That combined with Bipolar 1 and Anxiety is really knocking me around. Trying to sell home as result of marriage breakdown, pay debts, find new home. My daughter (who is my main support) is leaving home (can't blame her). I have a young son to look after and I'm trying to protect him from the strain of the situation. All this is coming off the back of a mixed episode, which has recently been replaced by plumetting mood and skyrocketing anxiety. I am teary and on the verge of panic and need to talk myself down - there's noone else to do it. The future is scaring me.

@Meowmy I hope you do feel better as the day goes on Hon. It is never easy facing the day when you are not doing too well but your are doing it and that in itself is a positive

Re: Really wobbly

I definitely get physical illnesses like colds etc more in Spring @frog, so I'm not surprised if MH is the same. This week I've had the lowest of lows and some ok days. The Temps have been between 8°C-30°C!!!

Re: Really wobbly

The weather changes so much in spring and it does have an effect on me @frog . It is usually the time I get sick - especially when we have colder nights and warmer days. That then affects my mood as well. I do love the longer days though and find I feel a little better when I can do things for longer at night. Daylight savings helps with that too and I always look forward to that time of year to have more time after work to do things.

Re: Really wobbly

It's just too hot here already @frog It's knocking my energy way down, & getting me sunburnt (already).

My mood is fine, energy is not (well into 30's C).

Re: Really wobbly

Not me @frog, spring is my favourite time of year. But I can understand the buildup and noise all around making people skatty. School hols alone drive mum's crazy lol
