Really wobbly

Really wobbly

Any advice and suggestions about how to stay grounded and do self care much appreciated. I have some big stressors in my life right now. That combined with Bipolar 1 and Anxiety is really knocking me around. Trying to sell home as result of marriage breakdown, pay debts, find new home. My daughter (who is my main support) is leaving home (can't blame her). I have a young son to look after and I'm trying to protect him from the strain of the situation. All this is coming off the back of a mixed episode, which has recently been replaced by plumetting mood and skyrocketing anxiety. I am teary and on the verge of panic and need to talk myself down - there's noone else to do it. The future is scaring me.

Hello @Shaz51

I'm ok-ish. Relieved that it's the weekend, but very flat. How are you going?

I am trying to drum up motivation but it's just not happening

Thanks for thinking of me at the feast @Former-Member

Sorry you are feeling flat @frog but I did have a giggle at the image - says it all really.

Been raining over night here and a pretty dreary looking day outside - perfect for frogs though

Goodluck with the motivation - some days we just don't have the energy hey!

Hello folks

I've had an odd week. I had the week off work to attend a course, but it got cancelled *and* I got sick. I love it when a plan comes together My mood has also been all over the place, but seems a bit more settled today.

Just wanted to say @Bunniekins that you had me rofl re the pagans/evangelicals!

I found a funny thing online...it said PRNs stands for Power Rangers Ninja Storm!!! So yeah, not sure that will help me sleep tonight.

Hello @Zoe7 @Shaz51 @MDT @eth @Faith-and-Hope @Adge @Ant7 @Wanderer @saturnzoon @Meowmy @TAB @Queenie @CheerBear @Mazarita @utopia @Appleblossom and all passing by. It seems like half my city has gone away for the long weekend, and I'm loving it. Take care lovely people

@frog @Thanks for post. Glad your mood is settling down. I do find my moods get easily overwhelmed and takes a while to settle it calm. When plans change, I need more time to calm myself.

Hope you have things to keep you happy and calm.

And have a good day tomorrow too.

Take care.

Yes, it's so quiet here too @frog I'm loving it...

The noisy neighbours stop yelling or playing ear-splitting music, when it's cold & rainy.

Gee, Power Rangers Ninja Storm - I definitely need one of those.

Although it wouldn't help me sleep, either.

Adge

Re: Really wobbly

Lovely to see you here and checking in with us all @frog

It is great that it is quiet around you - makes it easier to relax a bit. Your week sounds like it didn't go to plan - hope you get over your illness quickly. At least you have am little bit of time before work goes back. I am on school holidays for another week so getting plenty of rest and not doing very much. Next week I will try to get a couple of things done around the house (weather dependent) and have the end of the week to rest up again before I return to work.
