Really wobbly

Really wobbly

Any advice and suggestions about how to stay grounded and do self care much appreciated. I have some big stressors in my life right now. That combined with Bipolar 1 and Anxiety is really knocking me around. Trying to sell home as result of marriage breakdown, pay debts, find new home. My daughter (who is my main support) is leaving home (can't blame her). I have a young son to look after and I'm trying to protect him from the strain of the situation. All this is coming off the back of a mixed episode, which has recently been replaced by plumetting mood and skyrocketing anxiety. I am teary and on the verge of panic and need to talk myself down - there's noone else to do it. The future is scaring me.

Re: Really wobbly

I have a hard day ahead. I'm not going to work because my daughter has 3 medical appointments and I have to drive and be there. In the evening I'm going with my son to an open night for his last 2 years at school - that should be ok, though I'm very tired already.

My daughter has relapsed - mixed episode - and now there is an abnormal blood test result to be investigated. They are talking about tumours and she has some worrying symptoms. Yesterday she blacked out twice and has no memory of what happened.

Anyway, just wanted to get that out. Thanks for listening anyone out there. I'm going to jump around the forums a bit and try and steady myself.

Re: Really wobbly

Hello @Shaz51

I have had a good day (no dramas and kinda boring) and am not so wobbly as I was earlier in the week

My daughter's test results were ok, so the upshot is she was suffering bad side effects from an antipsychotic, which she has now stopped taking (unbeknownst to pdoc) a month before she was supposed to

I am really tired because of noisy neighbours last night - hoping they are all partied out now! Hi @CheerBear @Maggie @outlander @Mazarita
