Hi @Gypsy7

I can't really help you with this but I do understand - I will try and tag a moderator for you

@Former-Member- are you able to help Gyspy with her suicidal thoughts tonight?

Re: I'm not okay

I have to go now @Gypsy7 - I have nearly run out of the charge on my battery

I hope a moderator gets a message - it depends on how busy they are tonight

I suggest you can ring Life LIne on 13 11 14 for assistance otherwise or as well

Re: I'm not okay

Hi again, @Gypsy7,

Yes, you can be manic and sad. It's a kind of bipolar mixed state from my understanding and experience of it.

Really sorry to hear you feeling so desperate tonight. I'd like to suggest that you ring Lifeline on 13 11 14 so that you can hear a real voice responding to you and hopefully get some more crisis assistance.

Sending kindest wishes.

Re: I'm not okay

Ok thanks anyways. Just having someone to tell is helpful. My sons are a big protective factor for me. I don't feel like talking really. I write better than speak when I'm like this and it's been a while since I last felt this way. Decade or more. I'm worried bout my sons in his care that's keeping me alive ATM. I had got everything ready to end things my will sorted and figured a way through Google but I'm trying to hang on just hurts so much and I'm tired mentally. Yet fast at same time.

@Gypsy7, I don't mind chatting a bit longer if you'd like. I understand your preferring to write here. It does sound a bit like a mixed state that you are experiencing. Know that it will be temporary. Is it possible to contact your psychiatrist or other medical supports tomorrow or Monday? It sounds like your bipolar has been triggered and destabilised by these hard things happening. Feeling for you.

Re: I'm not okay

@Gypsy7, bear in mind that you may be also experiencing more intensely at present because of the effects of changing the dose of the medication. I always find this a very troublesome a vulnerable stage of things to have to go through. There are other members on the forum who are in the country too, so I'm aware of how difficult treatment options can be. It's great that you have the forum as an extra support, hopefully in an ongoing way.

If I was you, I would call my GP when the office opens today. If they don't do consultations on the weekend, I would suggest doing this first thing on Monday. Your medications may need to be adjusted in some way to help you deal with the side effects, or you may need to be prescribed a prn relaxant to help with your current high anxiety. Anything that can help you get through this crisis moment would seem to be worthwhile pursuing.
