glad they were yummy @Adge
I don't really like sandwhiches much, usually just buy them from like 7/11 after my dental appt (about once a month)as its right near the train station and isn't overly priced.

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

I'm sorry to hear about your hospital stay @Former-Member That does sound like a long time, 1 & 1/2 months (or so).

I hope things improve for you soon, & that there is something positive for you at the end of your stay.

Adge

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

You're right @outlander, I need to plan for discharge and what I’m going to do. I had a brief chat with a friend about her experience of DBT.
I don’t think I’m struggling without the thoughts, I’m more struggling at the thought that I have a life ahead of me, if that makes sense?

Is a hard road my friend

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

yep that makes total sense! @Former-Member
maybe have a think about some hobbies, or if youd like to study, work, join up with some support or social groups. it takes time to adjust to life outside hospital too though and I don't think everything needs to be planned, sometimes we just have to go with the flow and figure things out as we go.

@Snowie im sure you done dbt? you might be able to help @Former-Member with some questions if they have any?

gday @Adge

yeah not bad thanks @outlander just ate some dinner now. Parents and sister watching dancing with the stars. I was playing assassins creed on pc.

Tomorrow will apply for a bunch of jobs. Internship has been done from home as their office got flooded. Then I'll be going in on tuesday for an event and meeting a former parliamentarian.

So tuesday will be a big day

@Adge I am over sandwhiches. Forever. At least ones made at home that I take. I used to do it for school. Mum always used to make them, she also loved tomato sandwhiches. I hated them lol. Makes the bread soggy.

Re: Anyone feel like chatting?

hey @Snowie @Former-Member

Being in mental health wards is the best thing we can do for ourselves when we need it.

I haven't been to one for a while now but I do remember what it is like. Take care of yourselves please
