I'm unsure on interest @Former-Member

But i do know that it does NOT act like other forms of debt, so it won't effect your daughter's ability to take out a loan for something later in life.

Or else the banks would not be lending money to anyone lol

@Former-Member yes you do pay interest on the hecs-help debt but it is reduced if you make voluntary payments alongside the compulsory payments
