@Catcakes... hello there senior contributer 🙂 The senior contributer title is given after a member responds or creates a certain number of posts. I take it as a reflection of you being active within the forums. Hope that helps a little 🙂

@Pepples, I understand about the senior contributor but to be given that title in two days seems ridiculous to me. I was still trying to work out what/who/how and I thought it was a mistake .
Also when things were really upsetting and confusing for me... where were the moderators then???
Anyway, I’m yet to be convinced that the Forum is a safe place for me... we’ll see

@Catcakes, I hear you. I'm sorry to hear you felt unsupported at a point since you have been on the forums. I know there is a lot to take in when starting out here, please feel welcome to @ mention me if you have any other questions or queries. I'm not sure if you have read over this here, there's a lot of information about the SANE forums and helpful tips on what to do in certain situations, how to's and so on. Within that info you might see the explaination around contributer status which I have copied below. I do hear that the move to senior contributer felt too soon for you but that is the format we have in place for now.

New Contributor – 0 posts

Casual Contributor – 3 posts

Contributor – 10 posts

Senior Contributor – 30 posts

Hiya @Catcakes,
I too sometimes feel that the forum isn't a safe place at times. And I often feel alone and lost online here. I also feel totally overwhelmed with all that goes on.
But it really is a friendly place, you've just got to give it a bit of time.
I personally only focus on a few threads, ones that are usually safe and friendly. Although I do start many of my own threads that probably aren't that.
I also don't get too involved with other's problems. We're here for our own needs and to provide support and an ear to others. You can't solve other peoples muddles, any more than you can solve your own by yourself.
I'm not sure what happened that hurt you, but I just wanted to let you know that it is a worthwhile place to be, but maybe place some rules down to protect yourself? (If any of that makes sense?)
