@outlander I know it's crappy and I wish I knew what to say. I do understand. Life can be really tough. 💜 I do know that I started to feel a little better when I had SA counselling. Your psych thinks you're not ready for that. I hope you'll feel ready for it some time soon. I never felt ready, no one asked or suggested any different. I just talked about it and felt relieved. It was very difficult, but worth it. But do what's right for you. We are all different 💕

i changed therapists again @Former-Member im not telling her about the SA. its too complicated to explain everything.
how the heck do you manage your flashbacks casue mine are drowning me right about now and its casuing a panic attack

well with mine it went in stages that came less and less often I prefer to think of her, not her demise if that makes sense .I think it does. Same re mother. she's around now too cos i feel safe about not getting upset anymore depends what you concentrate on .. Good bits Good Bits Good bits ... lol

I was lucky to have a good SA counsellor @outlander I learnt to talk sbout it without feeling ashamed etc..... I still have flashbacks and triggers and nightmares, but they are less often. I guess talking about it was really most helpful. I read alot of self help books on the subject as well. 💜

Good thing is my girl will be home before 11pm. P platers aren't allowed to have passengers in their car after 11pm. Not looking forward to the time when she'll be home super late. I find it hard going to bed when she's not home safe and sound.
