Sorry you feel that way @MDT. What's bothering you?

I have no idea what I'm doing with my life and it feels like all the oppportunities have dried up

My anxiety is just getting in the way too much... I hate thinking what I could've been and what I could've done. It's actually infuriariting. I get angry and frustrated with it a lot.

Oh @MDT, I sometimes feel that way too.

I'm in my mid-30's and still at uni, not married, no house, no prospects. But when I'm feeling better I set goals for the future. Makes me feel like I HAVE a future and gives me something to do.

The thing is, the world has changed and there is very little that we cannot go back and experience if we missed it the first time around. So you might have missed stuff cause of your anxiety. But it will all be there when your anxiety goes back down again. (And it will!) Friends of mine have taken gap years in their 40's. Many have changed career at least once, sometimes 2 or 3 times. Gone to uni in their 40's and 50's AND 60's.

Are you seeing someone about your anxiety?

I've used up all my appointments through my MHCP with my psych

so it's full cost now (about 140ish).

I've noticed some changes but I'm really just sick of how much an impact it has had on me and how it's prevented me in life...

I feel like regret is just a massive thing I now have to eat and swallow up..
