@outlander, sounds like it's been a difficult night for you! So sorry to read it. Must be so hard when there's something so completely outside of your control acting as a trigger. How are you holding up?

Maybe some headphones and music might see you through for a little while?

@outlander, it's the worst thing when what you need is nourishing sleep and there's something making that so hard. Hope the weather turns and gives you some peace!

Re: All night triggers

I use earplugs to block out noises that disturb my sleep @outlander. You can pick up packets of them at a pharmacy or supermarket. They are quite effective.

Re: All night triggers

its so conflicting @soul if i cant hear noise then it scares the crap out of me and i get irrational thoughts like ' are my sisters breathing?' and things like that. thunderstorms and being able to see lightning, even knowing theres lightning, or that a storms forecast leaves me housebound. its terrifying and wind is very similar. its ok in the day time becasue im busy and dont really think about it but at night time its a major trigger.

i t sounds so stupid, i cant win!

when my sisters are sick thats another massive trigger esp at night time.

i dont know how to control my anxiety when it literally goes on all night and jsut when i think its ok they cough, or the wind picks up or a flash of lightning comes through the blind gaps.
