Really Struggling

Really Struggling

I really dont know what to do I dont know if i can honestly do this much longer. I am having so so much trouble with my eating and I dont feel in control anymore and I just wont to cry. i am not coping at all. i just got out of hospital and it didnt help at all. at least my mood is more normal the last few days but other than that nothing has changed. i am scared i am going to be put on another order and they will make me take meds again i cant take them because they make me eat and i cant do that right now. i just dont know what to do i feel completely hopeless.

@Eden1919. Yes, please tell your psychiatrist about your struggles with food. Mental illness manifests in many ways. So it is important that all our treating team know our full history, our full list of symptoms and behaviours.
Your behaviour with food is not your fault. It's nothing to be ashamed of. It is simply there.
You're struggling so hard with your issues with food at the moment. It sounds like it is affecting your life greatly.
By reaching out to your psychiatrist or even your gp, they can help get things back under control again for you. It will not be easy, but it is achievable.
You can do it.

Re: Really Struggling

Eden1919. Cry if that's how you feel. Crying can be a good release.
I don't have an issue with food. So I don't have that experience. But I do have a problem with alcohol and my inability to control it.
So I reached out. I'm now 73 days sober. So that addictive, not being able to control urges, and it taking over your life. That I understand.
Again, there is nothing shameful in this problem with food. It simply is what you are going through. What you need to deal with at the moment. It is causing you so much pain. Pain that you just don't deserve.
So please, let your psychiatrist or your gp. Tell someone who can help you.
You can overcome this. You are reaching out here. That's brave. You just need to reach out a little further and tell your psychiatrist.
Others have sought help and recovered. You can too.
Thinking of you.
