The great yoga adventure

The great yoga adventure

Hi all,

So...somehow I seem to have made myself a deal with @CheerBear that we are both going to venture into the super scary world of yoga next Monday. I'm SCARED!!!! I've been trying to psych myself up to go to a class for about a year and now thanks to a pesky little care bear, it seems like it is going to happen next Monday.

I have my mat and my outfit (and thanks to @Former-Member and @Former-Member I know to wear underpants under yoga pants ). Now I just need to find some courage. Hmmm...courage...I'm sure I have some here SOMEWHERE in my shell...

Only six sleeps away. This sounds way too close. Yep, this little turtle is going to need to do some serious psyching up before next Monday!!! All encouragement is warmly welcome.

Pigeon Pose..

Remember, you have to do Most Poses on Both Sides.

So, when finished on This Side - She Swaps her Legs Over (the other way around).

Legs Up Wall Pose (a Resting Pose)....

I cannot Straighten my Legs Up the Wall (my Hamstrings are too Short/ Tight).

So I have to Do Bow Legs Up the Wall....

Hi @Adge some good ones there!

I need to do some legs up wall.

Pidgeon I do, because physio recommended for dodgy sacro illiac joint.

Physio also recommended this one - bird dog - for core. My core is not so sure.

Hi @TAB and any one else the slightest bit interested!

Re: The great yoga adventure

I can do this but takes like 2 mins to get shoulders to touch floor as tension. I try to do it for 5 mins most days good for veins, back, legs, feel better afterwards @Adge @frog

Child's pose is one of my favourites. Feel like just staying there today.

Hi @TAB @Adge hope you have a good one.

Yoga Class today - Wearing a Mask (everyone) @frog @TAB

Very uncomfortable, over-heated my face - felt sick & nauseous.

Glad it was on though.

Could not see anyone's face.

So when Yoga Teacher says "Smile everyone", you cannot see any smiles...

Just Space Masks...

Re: The great yoga adventure

Yes, no-one could see us Smiling (through Mask) @Shaz51

Very ironic - because Yoga Teacher Reminds (asks) us to Smile, during Class....
